“KIDS LISTEN UP…THERE IS NO SCHOOL TODAY DUE TO VERY HEAVY SNOWFALL” the tv says the next morning. 1
“YES” I yell jumping out of bed. 2
I grab my cell phone and call Hunter. 3
“Hello?” he says in a tired voice4
“Get dressed and meet me at the park” I say5
“Why?” he says6
“cause it’s a SNOW DAY!” I yell into the phone7
“Shit Lane….ok ok. Be there in 10” he says8

I hang up and get dressed. I put on a long sleeve shirt, t-shirt over that, a sweatshirt then my winter coat. I put on a pair of sweatpants and then jeans over them, boots and a white beanie. 11
I meet Hunter at the park. 12
“We’ve got to find Jackie today” he says13
“What?” I say angrily14
“I have this feeling that I’m suppose to give this necklace back to her today” he says15
“Are you kidding me Hunter?” I say16
“No Lane. Please help me find her” he says to me looking into my eyes17

After 2 hours of looking for her I say “Hunt, I don’t think we’re gonna find her”21
“Yes we will. Me and her are meant to be together. I know it. This necklace proves it” he says.22
“Ok. But how do you know that she’s even gonna like you back? How do you know we’ll even find her?” I say23
“Because Lane. ANYTHING can happen on a snow day” he says24
“Hunter! I’m sick of looking for someone who I don’t even like.” I say25
“Fine Lane. Go home. I can find her myself” he says26
“You know Hunt. You are so clueless. Wait…I forgot. You’re a guy so of course you are” I say and turn around and start walking away. 27
“Whats that suppose to mean?” He says angrily. 28
“Because, your dream has been to be with Jackie. Do you have any idea what my dream is?” I ask29

I pull away and say “Good luck finding Jackie, Hunt. I hope your dream comes true” I say and then I walk away. 34
