Today Amy was turning seven. The other day she asked her mum, "Mummy, could I please have a teddy bear for my birthday?"1
"OK, Amy." Her mum replied.2
Amy's room was fillled with teddy bears because she likes them a lot. In the morning of her birthday she found a big white teddy bear on her bed. She hugged her teddy bear and said, "You'll always be my favourite teddy bear and I'll call you Big Ben."3

"Thank you mummy, thank you daddy." Amy shouted as she ran to the kitchen.5
"Happy Birthday Amy." They said and hugged her.6
For the rest of the day, her friends came over and had a birthday party. They gave her many presents but she likes Big Ben the most.7

That night when Amy was sleeping, she had a bad dream. She dreamt that monsters were chasing her. When she woke up, she cried calling for her mum, but she didn't hear her. Amy hugged Big Ben close for comfort.9
"Big Ben, I'm scared to go to sleep again. What if the monsters are still chasing me?"10
"Don't worry Amy." Big Ben said to her.11
To Amy's surprise, she saw that Big Ben was talking to her. "Big Ben, how come you can talk? You're only a teddy bear." Amy asked him.12
"I'm a special teddy bear Amy. Whenever you get scared and lonely, I will always protect and comfort you."13
"Really Big Ben? You'll do that for me?"14
"Yes, Amy. Now go back to sleep. I will always watch over you."15
For the rest of that night Amy slept peacefully with Big Ben in her arms. "I love you Big Ben." 1617

This is utterly adorable! My daughter, BethanyBoo on here, will love this, although her favourite soft toy is actually a giant stuffed ladybird. To be honest, it would have scared me when I was little, but hey! lol
This was a wonderful story. So cute and well written. It is perfect for children, it is easy for them to read and understand without being too simplistic or patronising. Great job!

This is sweet. The story of a little girl and her teddy bear. I have to say when you are little a teddy bear can make it alot easier to sleep at night. I like this alot, sweet, simple, and full of the cute stuff that children stories are full of. I'm not sure what daid means tho, I think it's too cool of a word for me to comprehend.
