An Encounter of the Dark (Introduction)

Can you talk to the dark, to the night? Is there more to it than just silence? More than a cold chill running down your back? Can it speak back? If so, what would it say? Would it tell of its fellows? Give up its inner circles to us? Does it really hate light? Does it remove itself from fear or from reverence? Can it really steal our children? Is it where we go when we die? I could go on forever but I won’t. I will say this though. Darkness is the ultimate question. It will give you a thousand ponderings that will bring ten fold that number more with it, and they haven’t even the need to be answered. Mainly cause we can’t answer them, except for the few of us who are lucky enough to get a talk with the Master of Midnight, the Birth of the Morn, darkness itself.1

To be sure we all have thought on the subject of death and darkness and we all have our conclusions. Some may be right, partially. Some might not have a bit of truth in them but if you deny thinking on these subjects then you might as well just give up on reading this. You are either too dense or protected to need the thought of other things or your lying to yourself and the world.2

And just because you’re doing the thing everyone else is doing doesn’t automatically make you normal, that is a major misconception. In the real world being normal may be a curse and a blessing all in one. A curse because you may never get a chance at anything great, except by the right people. And it is a blessing in the sense that you will be trusted to do the job the way it is wanted that you do it. 3

Trusted to do the job the way that it is wanted that you do it. As in the way your friend or employer or whomever wants it done. But as we all know people and their opinions aren’t always correct. They are entitled to their opinions mind you but its up to their discretion to get the opinion right. 4

But I've strayed too long on tangents. The reality of the dark is in these following pages placed there to unfold the mysteries of the dark for all to know. For you and your friends. For the believer and the non-believer. For like I said opinions rule the realm of truth in today but not the truths of eternities.5

Makes me miss listening to the night. I shall have to go outside for awhile later...lol. This was a chaotic ramble, but strangely eloquent at times, and indicative of a keen intellect. Go outside and figure it out...=) I will of course, read more...

Hmm... I would definately be interested in reading more. I am curious where you are going with this.
I am sure we all think on these subjects -I think some people may be just too far in denial to admit it!
Well Josh, let me know when you have some more to share and I will check it out. I enjoyed reading thus far
