“I see you found the paper and pens,” breathed Jinx, sliding alongside Eternity.15
Surprised, she recoiled and plunged the fountain pen deep into his left shoulder.16
Instead of becoming livid at the unbearable wound, he effortlessly laughed. His laugh pronounced events she didn’t recognize. But she didn’t even want to know.17
Wrenching the writing instrument from his cold tissue, he giggled like a diminutive youngster and announced, “You were always feisty.”18
Confused, she questioned, “Always? How long have I been a vampire?”19
Jinx fondled her charming curls teasingly. Creating ringlets in her hair with his freezing hands said, “It is not a question of time existing as a human and creature of the night named Eternity. Question how long you have lived in general.”20
“Simple. Sixteen years,” she stated pompously.21
“Yes. In this life,” he optimistically replied with a meaningful grin.22
A perplexed, disorientated masquerade painted Eternity’s gorgeous face.23
“My charming baby. Take notice of the explanation. I would not let you destroy those letters for they are fragments of my heart. And in a particular way they are divisions of yours. Value for you are not what you believe. You have considerable amounts of supremacy inside your attractive youthful body. Such immense control. The human race is at your domination. What you desire is yours. You were my delightful Ethereal and at this moment we are reunited as one. You are now my spectacular Eternity; I will never lose you again. I assure. I will never lose you once more.”24
With those concluding words he sighed into her body and she felt a practically human emotion overwhelm her. She felt love.25

hmmm...i like what you did with this...showing subtly that she lived before and not in this present life. well done on that aspect. reading this through the first time, i have to say i was perplexed how i, the reader, got from the ending of the previous chapter to the beginning of this one because she stabbed Jinx with that pen, i thought it was an act of anger, not surprise. i like the conclusions you come to in this installment. you voiced that you wanted to make this longer and if i may suggest a flashback to when Jinx and "ethereal" were together, i think that would be an interesting road to take. and it would explain alot that you summarize in that second to last paragraph which was my favorite part in this chapter. a job well done

Never change it.
*sighs* To be able to know that feeling again...
This part of the story has a demonic beauty so powerful I can't explain it. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about and if I'm kmaking no sense, ignore me but I loved this chapter most of all.
See you on the other side?
