Untitled- Chapter Three

We returned to the manor, owned by another clan as we weren't located in Toronto. The others seemes surprised when we walked in, followed by a kicking, screaming girl. 1

"Jonas, what is the meaning of this? I thought they were all supposed to die!" Jubilee, the head of the Toronto clan cried.2

"I couldn't fucking toush her Jub. She's a goddamn witch. WHat was I supposed to do? Leave her there to help them?"3

"They were dead, Jonas," I said.4

"The old man wasn't completely dead. She could easily have healed him."5

"Well, where do you expect me to put her? You all have the extra rooms!"6

"She'll stay in my room. I'll sleep with one of the others."7

Nobody said anything, but I could feel a few sets of eyes turn immediately toward me. Some people thought I had rebounded too fast from Michael's death, and perhaps I had, but Jonas had been there to save me. I would have stuck the stake through my ownheart that night if he hadn't been there to make me forget. 8

"Very well, but if anything happens to my clan because of her..."9

"They'll be fine. No rules have been broken I'm sure the girl won't do anything stupid while surrounded by and entire clan. She knows the rules as well as I do."10

"Very well. Good eve, Jonas."11

"Good night."12

Jonas and I led the girl to his room. She looked around in awe at the elaborately decorated room. The large fourposeter bed looked worm and inviting. 13

"You'll be staying here tonight, child. Tomorrow night, we will be traveling back to the States, once there, you'll be dealt with accordingly. What the Ancestors choose to do with you is unknown to me. Perhaps, they will return you to the world, but I do not know. You will know in time. For now, sleep. We'll return for you when the time comes, don't do anything stupid."14

We left her to her sleep and went to my room. Once the door was closed Jonas grabbed me and pulled me onto the bed. Laughing, I kicked him away.15

"Down boy!"16

"Awwww.. that's not fair," he whined.17

"Oh don't be such a baby, I just need to change first."18

"Why? It's just going to come right off."19

"I know, but I would like to."20

I never did get to change, Jonas got a little impatient. He grabbed me, and before I knew it, I was on top of him, as he kissed me. When we were finished, I lied down beside him, his arms around me. Everything was fine, until we heard the screams.
