Untitled- Chapter One

It wasn't supposed to happen this way, it should have been easy, they should be dead. But they knew... dammit somehow they knew! But how? I lifted my head in time for the answer. A few feet away, one of my own was slitting the throat of a friend. She had betrayed them all, I had been right... it had only been a hunch, but once she had disappeared last month, all of a sudden to reappear... I had known, and now, there was nothing I could do. 1

I watched as she advanced to me, fighting of people who had once called her sister, friend, lover, killing htem without mercy, all but one. She grabbed him from behind, and dragged him to me- I knew what she was going to do. 2

"Hello, Shauni," she whispered, "I just wanted you to know, that this is for what you did to me, what you turned me into and for making me watch you do the same to the ones I loved the most."3

"Abigal, do not do this. You cannot survive out there now, you know this. Every clan in the world will be searching for you, going after your blood. You kill him and I will personally lead the attack against you."4

"It's your fault, you did this to me, remember? Do you?!"5

My mind immediately went to the day I had first met Abigal, the day I had been forced to change the girl's life forever...6
