Xiaolin Showdown Raimundo Fan-Fiction

Raimundo is falling slowly, in a space-like atmosphere. 'I remember, when I was a child..my mother, and father. Where are they now? Oh yeah....they're....'1

Raimundo sees his mother, attempting to wake him.2

"Raimundo,"3

'Mother?' 4

"Raimundo come on lets go!" 5

'Go where mom?' 6

"We need to hurry!" 7

'Hurry where?'8

"Raimundo!! RUN! Hurry! Get out of here!"9

'What? Why?'10

A Gun shot is sounded. Raimundo gets covered in his mother's blood, as he stares at her lifeless body. Raimundo's eyes widen, then he looks to the dark figure, and begins to cry.11

'Mom! Mom no! Please be alive, Please!'12

(Raimundo nudges his mother, but she does not move.)13

'No! Mom! No!!'14

(Raimundo cries out, as the dark figure drags her body away. He reaches out to her, as he is unable to move.)15

"MOTHER!!!" Raimundo shouts as his hand is in the air. It was midnight, and someone touches his hand. 16

"It's okay Rai, it was just a dream," Kimiko says as she strokes his hand with glistening, caring eyes. Raimundo stays sitting up, and silently he wipes his eyes. He rubs his head, and sighs silently.17

"When did you," Raimundo starts, as Kimiko quickly replies.18

"I heard you, you where mumbling, and when I came to check on you, you where sweating," She says, as Raimundo closes his eyes. Kimiko sets Raimundo's head on her lap, as she sits up with him. "Just....a dream," Raimundo says. He drifts off to sleep.19

It's morning, and Raimundo opens his eyes and hears chattering outside. Raimundo get's dressed, and then walks outside as well.20

"Raimundo, we have something important to tell you," Master Fung says, as Omi, Clay, and Kimiko already sitting down put down their tea cups. Raimundo sits at the end of the table, and nods letting Master Fung know he was ready.21

"Today, there was another killing. A relative of yours, Jose Pedrosa, do you know him?" Master Fung asks. Raimundo nods.22

"The killer, has been killing members of your family off to get a newly active shen gong wu. Do you know what it is?" Master Fung asks. Raimundo shakes his head.23

"It's called the Heart of Hanabi, a powerful Shen gong wu, that can ressurect anyone, also give them knowledge of untold legends," Master Fung pauses as Raimundo interrupts.24

"What does that have to do with my family?" Raimundo asks as he stares at Master Fung intently.25

"The Heart of Hanabi, makes it's way into the fetus towards any random mother. Once the child grows up, and is near death, it moves to another person. The Heart of Hanabi is your very heart, Raimundo," Master Fung finishes.26

"I don't understand. I am a Shen Gong Wu? Is he looking for me now?" Raimundo asks as he stands up quickly.27

"We're keeping you here for a while Raimundo. I cannot say whether or not you are a Shen Gong Wu, but even if you are you are no different than the Xiaolin Dragons. You'll always be Raimundo," Master Fung finishes as they all stand up. The four leave Raimundo to gather his thoughts, and then speak in private.28

"I fear...that Raimundo will begin to experience more pain. I have a bad feeling, that Raimundo will die soon," Master Fung says to the three dragons.29

"How much longer does Rai got left to live, Master Fung?" Clay asks as the others stare intently. Master Fung's eyes grow sorrowful.30

"Three days," He replies, as the dragons gasp.31

"How can Rai die Master Fung?" Kimiko asks.32

"He will use up his elemental abilities, causing him to become weak and fragile...his body will be perfect for anyone undead..." Master Fung starts.33

"Wuya," The three reply.34

"How can we stop this from happening Master Fung?" Omi asks, as the others listen carefully.35

"I am affraid...that this is something that we cannot stop from happening," Master Fung replies.36
