Dark Star--Prologue

Prologue

Some time after the Last Battle

I write this down so that I will remember. So that we will remember. Our time in the world draws swiftly to a close, and all events of the past will fade from the memory of the world. For after we pass from the world, none will remember our tale; none will hear the winds whisper the old tales, or hear the sea sing the old lays. The One calls to us, the Ainur, offspring of His thought, to come to him and forsake the world and its pains. The world was itself rounded ages ago, but now the very fabric of the Void—within which the world rests and is contained, yet remains separate from—is made round. Never again will Mortal Men see the Blessèd Realm of Valinor, nor shall they see the Divine Realms, home of Eru, and of the Ainur who never left his side. Never again, not in their own living flesh. We have seen the wisdom in this action, save only one among us. He refuses to admit the truth that we were right all along, and that he should have listened to our words, for all that they came from the lips of Darkness. He was called Manwë Súlimo in the World That Was.

My name? I am called Eruanna, Grace, and I am the daughter of Sauron.

uh, in order for Sauron to have a daughter he would have to have had a body, he was just an eye of flame, and a ring.
