The Decision Process1
Underlying Motivations2
Why do I want to do this? What caused me to take this course?3
Clearly understanding ones’ motivations will help them better understand what it is they want to achieve. Want in this case is synonymous with intend.4
The Purpose of an Act5
Ask yourself... Why am I doing this? What reaction will this act have? What do I want to achieve? Purpose here is synonymous with goal.. One needs to know where they are going. Each action must have a purpose in attaining that goal. Otherwise, there may be frivolous acts that will or may hinder the achievement of others. One may have many goals simultaneously working... like multi tasking. We need not focus exclusively on just one, but as opportunity arises to complete an act that further brings you closer to your purpose.6
Intentions7
This is the power behind our actions... If we intend to hurt we will do things that will ultimately cause harm. If intentions are for good, then good will come from our actions... Sometimes mistakes can be made and what we intended doesn’t happen... At this point it is time to re-examine our actions and the motivations for those actions.8
We can assume that our acts or actions having had a different result then in tended was somehow wrong. .To repeat this act and expect different results is the basis of insanity... So, by stepping back and examining our actions carefully, we learn or we can say we now know. For what is knowledge except the study of what is known. Then when knowledge becomes certainty and expanded to all surrounding areas of knowledge, one just might be considered wise, thus understanding the reason why, at least in the realm of intelligent decision making. 9

A Welcome Read
It's nice to see some deep thinking on the site and not just how many vampires or wizards are decapitated. I can very much relate to these insights and am glad to see someone understand the effects that decisions have on our lives as well as well as others. -
Complex but great
"To repeat this act and expect different results is the basis of insanity." This line says it all... we should learn by our mistakes and not repeat them...our mind does control our actions and without careful thought they can do more harm then good... in other words I guess you could say "think before you speak or act" Great write Hun... keep it up..
