Heart of Stone (Chapter 1)

once upon a time there was an 8 year old girl who had a heart of stone. she never let anyone get close to her and pushed away all of her friends. the reason for this was because she was broken inside.she was broken because of her parents. they are divorced but that wasnt what broke her. they are always contantly fighting. they cant sit in the same room with eachother, they are always telling this little girl whats so bad about the other. they are always trying to make her choose between them. on such occassions like her birthday and who she chooses to take her out for dinner. as she got older, she dreaded her birthday, all it did was cause her pain.
this girl is 16 now, its been 8 years since her parents divorced and they are still fighting and complaining to or so her parentsher, they are still killing their only daughter inside. her parents are to selfish to notice that they had already killed their sons. her heart was still stone and she had mastered the art of hiding her emotions. she was called names at school, things like emo bitch or gothic slut. she didnt label herself but she was not an emo. She had no friends but that was ok. she thought she could last by herself. Her teachers sent her to the counsiller many times but nothing could save this girl from the darkness .what no-one understood that this girl was kind inside, she put up a tough act so no-one could hurt her or break her heart. she had seen too much pain to put herself through it. this young girl suffered from depression but she had no-one to save her. her mum never allowed her to read fairytales so she never knew of happy endings. She never knew of a prince coming to save her. this is what this story is about, the prince saving his princess from the darkness and showing her what love is. showing her that there is such things as happy endings. The girl went to Cranebrook high school, a place for real tiprats. The place she believedshe belonged. This story will start at her first day back for semester 2 in year 10. the day her life will change forever.
