Part III-Stuff Explained, People Introduced

“How can I be a best-selling author that has written tons of books, be the best friend the you lost so many years ago and also be one of the three who have been the first to have taken over the world?” Felicia finished for her. “I was wondering when you’d figure that out.”
Next thing they knew, they were bound hand and foot to the wall and all three were in the control room.
“You are responsible for all of this?” Dorothy yelled at her.
“Come on Dorothy, you should remember by now too. I mean, you only had half of your memory erased!” Felicia told her as she started pressing buttons on the panel.
“Wait a sec, I remember some, but…it was a dream, wasn’t it?” Dorothy asked, confusion plastering her face.
“Not a dream Dorothy. Reality. A reality that gave me the knowledge that we could do it. We could actually take over the world.” Felicia sighed.
“But…but how?” Gina stuttered.
“How? Easy. After slipping away from our past life, we each got a job. Mine was writing. I became Iras Ruler. I don’t understand why people didn’t notice when we took over the world the Iras Ruler is Sari Ruler. Ruler Sari? My codename for ruler of the world? Get it?”
“I can’t believe we didn’t see that,” Gina said to herself. “It’s so obvious!”
“Newly developed cloning technology Darren, Alyssa and I ‘placed’ into our hands after some hard work and pulling a few strings used to clone all the world leaders was very helpful. We then invited them the a giant party; one so big, there was no way any secret service could keep an eye on them the whole time. Then we switched our clones with the real ones. The real leaders are on a permanent vacation where ever they want.” Felicia added, seeing the look on Dorothy and Gina’s faces.
“The next thing we had our clones do was hand over the powers of the world to us. It wasn’t hard, really, all we did was unite the world. Recently though, we realized that our world wasn’t all that it could be. How did we decide to fix it? By destroying other races and taking what they created to use for our own planets use.
“You might think that this is a selfish thing, but I assure you it is not. Research shows that in a few years, Earth will be in an unstable condition and will eventually collapse. Alien technology will prevent that. But, in order to get it, I need to inform Darren and Alyssa of these new developments. They are back on Earth, so I need to go.”
“You’re going to leave us here?” Dorothy asked, face clearly worried.
“Not for long. Just to converse with Darren and Alyssa to make sure that we are ready to carry through with our plans. Then we’ll be back, and you two will have the privilege of seeing us destroy the rest of all life in the galaxy. And we may have troubles with this spaceship, and you two are the top in the field, so you’re a convenience to have aboard.” Felicia stood at the entrance to the escape pod and took a final look at her old friends. Tied tight, and with only flying and bacon frying powers, there was no way that they could break free…but just in case…1

“You know, I bet I can use the radio to call Darren and Alyssa from here. That way, they can fly up, and I won’t have to leave before you two get your new powers.” Felicia nodded to herself. “Yes, that would be a bit better. See, the one thing that always goes wrong in evil plots is that the mastermind walks away and leaves the heroes alone, giving them time to escape. We haven’t made any of those stupid mistakes, and that has been our key in world domination.”
She went on talking. Or at least, that’s what Gina and Dorothy thought. They were sitting there thinking that they would have to listen to Felicia’s boring and dreary chatter about nothing. In reality, she was in the escape pod, on her way home, enjoying the fact that one of her superpowers was replication.

It was quiet as she slowly steered the escape pod in the direction she needed it to go. If she was to return to Earth with my powers, there was only one way to go. Before entering the atmosphere, she sent an encoded signal to a secret device Darren, Alyssa and she always carried around with them. In case of emergencies, they were always in contact with each other.
After finishing and making sure the pod was on the right track, she leaned back and thought about life.
That had been too easy, destroying the little amount of life left on that ship. Felicia had even stopped a small rebellion in the process. The bigger rebellion at home wouldn’t be all that much easier to stop. Led by him, it was one of the strongest rebellions in the world. Of course, The Three did have plans to stop it; they would just take some time to play out. Infiltration of the rebellion, slowly gained trust, and gradual high placement would be all they needed to break it apart. So far they had several spies involved in the group, with a larger number of spies who had been kicked out as suspected spies. Apparently, they are a very wary group. As the saying goes: Good is the enemy of the great.
A soft alarm started going off, signaling that she was about to enter Earth’s atmosphere. But she knew she wasn’t, and laid back, eyes closed, to prepare for the crash landing she knew would be a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

“Felicia? Felicia?”
Felicia’s eyes slowly opened, and her blurred vision slowly refocused itself. she tried to sit up and was helped by two people. When her vision regained, she saw Darren and Alyssa by her side. She was in the medical room at our Artic base. Her arm was bandaged and in a sling, and there was a bruise on her head.
“Well, that’s something fun I’m never going to try again.” She told them as she tried to get up off of the bed. Standing, she felt a bit awkward, seeing as the last few days she hadn’t been restricted by anything other then artificial gravity.
“We got your message to meet us here. Mind telling us what happened and why you disappeared for a few days?” Darren asked.
She brushed off the headache and stood up straight, regaining full posture. “Before the space meeting, I was abducted by our friends.”
Alyssa nodded, “We knew it was coming, seeing as that satellite in space has tracked any foreign object in space the past year.”
“They know what our goal is. I’m not sure how they found out, but they bottom line is that they know and preparations need to be made to combat any long range weapons.” They started walking out of the room. At the base, there were only scientists, a doctor, security, and any guards or assassins (who they paid greatly to protect them instead of kill them) they had brought with them. The corridors were empty and they were momentarily free to talk openly.
“How many are expected?” Darren asked, pulling out a communications link between him and out Director of Arsenal (DA), who just happened to be Felicia’s brother.
“Every other race in the universe, my informant told me. I guess that we pose a real threat to them.” She shrugged.
“This means that they have something to hide and we want whatever that is.” Alyssa pointed out. “What about short ranged weaponry?”
“This is the good news. Do you recall the pink room I described when I told you about my first experience with these lovely creatures?” Alyssa and Darren nodded. “Well, they idiotically put me back into the room. Twice. This gives me a total of four powers, three of which I have already identified.”
Darren’s eyes narrowed, “How do you know that they didn’t disappear after entering the ozone?”
We stopped walking and Felicia pointed to her arm. “Power number one: I can do anything I want. Reality bending.” Instantly, her arm was healed and she took the sling off and demonstrated that it was fine. “Power number two: Ability to multiply.” She divided herself in two and both Felicia’s watched Darren and Alyssa’s amazed faces. Returning to one, she said, “Power number three: Memory Meddling. I’d rather not demonstrate this one.”
Alyssa nodded, understanding, “So you think that you would be able to defeat any ship that came close to the atmosphere?”
“Milky Way, but yes, the idea is the same.”
“Good, then we can begin final preparation. We will need to head back to our main headquarters to touch up here and there, but otherwise, we’re good to go.” Darren said, and then spoke to the DA about what he needed to do.
They continued walking toward the exit, where a plane would be waiting to take them home.
Felicia remembered Gina and Dorothy in space and grabbed a radio on her waist. The leader of our spy operation immediately answered.
“Yes ma’am?”
“Final pieces are falling in place for our plan. I need you to destroy all evidence. It seems we’ve had some snooping around being done in secret files. Interrogate all personal in relationship to the UNSP officers who headed the space operation. Thank you.”
“Will do ma’am.” 3

Darren raised an eye as she ended the conversation. “Trouble?”
“Remember Gina and Dorothy? My old friends from high school?”
“Nice people. What of it?” Alyssa asked.
“They happen to also be the heads to the space operation who started sneaking, or in their terms, constructing ‘inconspicuous research’ in regards to our plan. As a punishment, or as I see it, a privilege, they will be assisting us in the alien spacecraft that will accompany us on our voyage.”
The rest of the trip was spent in silence until Felicia felt that something bad had happened, and called the leader of the Three’s spy operation and told him to keep tabs on a ‘special friend’ of hers.
