Part I -- Meetings, Greetings, Introductions And A Plot

Did she know this would have happened? She should have. Would she have done something differently? Who knows?
It happened though. Again with the whole ‘destroy earth and revenge’ thing. She’d thought that by now, people would have gotten over that. Well, on earth they had anyway. If they hadn’t, there were attitude adjustment courses the individual must go through. Not can. Must. They didn’t have a choice. Ever since Sari, Myra, and Derrick managed to become the first to actually dominate the world, as in, take over it completely, things have been different. Was the world a better place? She thought so. Sure, there weren’t any separate individual governments making their own decisions, but hey, that meant there weren’t any separate individual governments screwing up the world either. And everyone seemed at peace, no starving people (well, almost none, there were those who insist that a one world government can’t be good, and go off into the wilderness, where they end up starving) no world conflicts, and everyone was treated fair and equal. If they don’t treat others nicely, there are correction facilities. She knew from experience that that was not a fun place to be.
The jist of the statement is that they came back. She found herself in the pink room again. Except, it wasn’t the same pink room as last time. It was shaped differently. She felt the familiar flash, and knew what was coming next. They threw her once again into a room, and she sat there, calmly waiting. Because she was not used to sitting on the floor, she sat on one of the beds that happened to be there. Leaning against the wall, hands behind her head she lay there. Slowly, she closed her eyes, knowing that dizziness may over take her soon. And then it came, just as predicted. Life was these days. A rut, mostly. Because The Three were in charge of the world, she had no cares, except to turn in her manuscripts on time. And because she had nothing else to do, she had them in a week early no matter what amount of time they gave her. 1

The dizziness faded, and still she lay there, wondering what was going to happen. Sure, she had an idea of why she was here. She remembered what had taken place years before, when she was fifteen. What was that? Only six or so years ago? So many things had changed. So many things had changed. Yet nothing at all. Weird huh? Eyes closed, she slept for awhile, dozing in and out of sleep. 2

She awoke to the sound of a door being open. She lifted one eye, and then closed it again, seeing as it was only two girls that had been thrown into the room. They were clearly unaware of the entire situation, seeing as they were both about to go into hysteria. Did she care? Not really. She knew what would happen, and that it would all be okay. Besides, when we all got back home, this would make a nice science fiction novel, and everyone loves those these days. Why? She didn’t know. Probably because of the space program, which has had some astonishing breakthroughs. Now, everyone is wondering what the regions of the galaxy are like, and fantasizing about extraterrestrial life. She’d been thinking about writing some books in that area for awhile, but no good story has ever come up. 3

They were shaking her. “Wake up! Wake up! What’s going on?”
Annoyed, she glared at them and pushed them away. “Hands off.” Observing them, she realized they were both around my age.
“What’s happening?” The first girl asked. She had dark skin, sharp eyes and was tall. The second girl was a bit shorter with dark hair and eyes and light skin. They were both wearing uniforms for the Uni-national space program.
“You work with the space program?” she asked, smiling a bit.
“That has nothing to do with it. We have to get out of here.” The second girl said, on the verge of panic.
“Why do we have to get out of here? You need to be somewhere?” she asked her. Okay, so maybe it wasn’t the nicest thing to say, but she wasn’t fond of panicking people who aren’t polite.
“No. Well, yes. Anything’s better then being on some…place with ALIENS!” she yelled at her.
She laughed to herself. That girl worked with the space program and didn’t like aliens? Wow, someone needed a different job.

She sat up off the bed and stretched. Yawning, she motioned them to sit in the two chairs that were located on the other side of the room. They did, but rather reluctantly.
She sat across from them and then asked, “Okay, this may seem a bit weird to you, being here and everything, but I’m going to ask you not to panic because I have everything under control.” Well, at least she would, when she figured out what two superpowers she had. “Are there any questions you would like to ask?”
Both hands immediately shot up.
“You,” she pointed to the girl with dark skin.
“Who are you and why do you know everything is okay?” The other girl nodded in agreement. She guessed that they knew who each other were, seeing as they worked together and weren’t asking each other the question.
“Before I tell you who I am, how about you tell me who you two are?” she asked them both.
“Why? I asked you first.”
“I’ll make it simple: I know how to get out of here, and I don’t want to take my enemies with me. Clear?”
Both nodded, and the first one answered.
“Oh, okay. My name is Dorothy. I work for the Uni-national Space Program (UNSP) and am one of the two heads to the project that has built the perfect spaceship. I am highly respected everywhere in the world.” Bells went ringing in her head. She knew that name from somewhere other then the space center…but where? Didn’t have time to answer, because suddenly, she knew what one of her powers was. The other her standing near the door proved that she could multiply herself. Useful, she thought. Very useful. She watched herself reach into her pocket and pull out a device. They both smiled, then she nodded, and the original made her disappear.
Dorothy and the other girl hadn’t seen a thing.
“My name is Gina, and I am the other head to the operation. Also respected, I am known throughout the world as a brilliant astrologist who hates science.”
She was right when I said she had the wrong job. What made her mad is that she could remember her from somewhere too. But where? She needed more information.
“So, tell me your backgrounds.”
Dorothy started first, “Well I’m 22, and originally, I’m from Uganda. I moved to the US in my early years and found out that I was good at science. After The Three took over, it was found that I was extremely good in designing and manufacturing space crafts, so for the past few years I’ve been working with Gina on that.”
Gina nodded in agreement, “Yeah, it’s pretty much the same for me. I’m 20, and I went to Santiago High with Dorothy. We hung out a lot; we also had a friend named Felicia who hung with us. But she disappeared around the end of the junior year. No one knows what happened to her. Anyway, when I was 18, The Three took over and I was sent along with Dorothy to the space thing, and what do you know, we are the two most space-knowledgeable people in the world.” She grimly smiled. “I really hate space.”
The girl now knew where she had known them from. She sighed and rubbed her head. This situation was getting more and more confusing. So Ben was right, and this is when and where it happens. 4

“So who are you?” Gina asked, “And why can we trust you?”
She stood and walked up to the wall. What was she going to do? Nothing could turn out good. Nothing was going to go according to plan now.
Facing the wall, she answered, “I’m Felicia.”
“FELICIA?”
“FELICIA?”
Turning around, Felicia looked into their smiling faces.
“It’s really you?” Dorothy asked.
“Yeah, it’s me.” she smiled half-heartedly. “Really me.”
“But you look different!” Gina said suspiciously, “I’m not sure if it’s you.”
“In 9th grade, I was obsessed with Danny Phantom, you were obsessed with Avatar, and we were both mad when they were both canceled the next year. We then flooded Nick headquarters with tons on tons of letters. A total of 1,600. 600, because if you put colons in there, it shows the 6 o’clock hour; the hour when both shows aired, and 1,000 because that was a lot. After that many letters, Nick finally gave up and sent out a total of 3 more new seasons. We were praised on every forum, and put into three different newspapers” Felicia took a deep breath.
Dorothy and Gina’s jaws dropped. “Felicia! It is you!”
She nodded.
“What happened to you Felicia? Where did you go? Why did you disappear?” Gina asked. “You missed the senior year of high school.” They were both staring at me. What could she tell them?
“Well, I…I decided to leave the city because I needed to focus on my writing if I ever wanted to take my dream of being a writer seriously. It took a while to get focused and into the zone. It was a lot harder when The Three came into power, but I realized that it actually made my job easier because there was only one publisher. I now have several books out, most of them being best-sellers and on the self of every bookstore.” She gazed into their eyes, wondering how they would take that information.
“How come, if they’re so popular, we haven’t seen any of them?” Dorothy asked.
“Let me ask you a question. Have you ever heard of the author Iras Relur?” Felicia said, twirling the ends of her braided hair.
Both instantly recognized the name. “Yeah, she’s written the top books everywhere. She’s written fantasy, romance, action, adventure; a little bit of everything, I think.” Dorothy answered.
“She’s put out some interesting things on science. Of course, we already knew them, but she seems to be top on everything right now.” Gina added.
Felicia took a bow, “I now introduce you to miss Iras Relur.”
“What!” they both yelled out.
“Felicia, you…you are Iras?” Gina stuttered, “What- I mean, wow!”
“Geez Felicia, you never even sent us an autograph!” Dorothy said, clearly mad.
“Yes, well, it’s my pen name so others don’t know my real one.” 5

“A pen name!” Dorothy announced. “We should’ve realized that! But we thought that because you had disappeared…you had…”her voice trailed off.
“It was hard times, back then. Kids disappearing left and right off the streets.” Felicia answered, understanding. “But things aren’t like that now. Things have changed!”
Gina’s and Dorothy’s eyes both darkened.
“Yeah,” Dorothy muttered. “They sure have. For the worse.”
She was slightly confused. “What do you mean?”
“How long have you been hiding?” Gina asked. “Things are terrible. Sure, the…questionable people in society have disappeared, poor countries assisted by wealthier ones, everyone has a home and food, but…”
“But what?” One of Felicia’s eyebrows rose. “It sounds like your describing a utopia.”
“But it’s the three!” Gina sighed. “Excuse me, The Three. The power of the world has gone to their heads! They’re evil!”
Felicia’s eyebrows narrowed, “They’ve taken over the world. How much more evil can you go?”
Dorothy and Gina glanced at each other nervously and then nodded.
“We’ll only tell you because you’re our friend. We’ve been doing some inconspicuous research.” Dorothy revealed.
“So you’ve been searching through unauthorized documents?” She asked sarcastically.
“‘Inconspicuous research’ Felicia! ‘Inconspicuous research’!” Dorothy corrected her.
Felicia rolled her eyes, “What did you find?”
“You’ll never believe this!” Gina whispered. “A few years ago, one of The Three was abducted by aliens. They managed to free their self, and as they were escaping, destroy all life on the ship. The only evidence was the unusual amount of solar radiation, an escape pod from the ship, and DNA on the pod. According to files in The Three’s overall database, steps are being made to use the ship we’re building to destroy the alien life that once held the member captive. They want to seek out all extraterrestrial life and destroy it! We can’t let this happen. Mankind has been waiting hundreds of years to find other forms of life.”
Confused, Felicia asked them to explain why this was evil. Sure, they were going to kill aliens, but maybe they had different reasons.
“No,” Dorothy said, “Certain files in hard to reach areas show that other planets are farther ahead then us. The Three want to steal this technology and use it for their own purposes.”
“How are you two planning on stopping them from doing this?” She asked cautiously.
Dorothy smiled, “Once the public know about this, there will be a mob of people against what The Three are doing. They will overthrow The Three, and the way the world was before will be once again.”
She didn’t know what to do with the information she was hearing. Two of her old best friends wanted to overthrow The Three. That would be treason.

Author notes

This is part I to an unnamed story. Actually, the title I gave it isn't really a title and it is way to long to keep repeating.
