The Romans were fools. Who would willingly fight for a cause not their own? How could the Romans not see that their so called "God" was pure fancy, a myth? A figment of their imagination. An image, no more, hardly worthy of the title myth or legend. And yet, in the name of this "God" they force others against their will, to do the will of Rome and "God" when it was not their home for which they were to fight. A new definition of Hell was created amongst the Pagans. Those that believed in Hell anyway. For who can say with absolute certainty that there really is heaven or hell? None. None have seen it. The only hell I have ever seen is that which was born from this Earth, created by the fools who make up half of it's population. The hell of poverty, deceit, bloodshed, revenge, and passionate rage on a battlefield. That is true hell. All are equal, as Arthur once said, and said many times over. That is as it should be, but of course, that is not so in the world. There is no way of knowing if ever so peaceful a world would exist. There is always war, always bloodshed, no matter how it comes about or by who's hand it is shed. It is there. Still, there is always hope, and faith in that which we love. Faith in the people we love. Faith in the freedom into which we were born, even if we did not know it. Believe in whatever you will, but no man or "god" has the right to take away the freedom of any human being. None. Hope and Faith, freedom perhaps. War and bloodshed, lies more often than not. That is our world now. What better cause to fight than that? 1
