Thats Vegas Chapter 10

"Please let me go!"  Sarah pleaded as Nick tightened his grip.  "never"  He replied and glared at the cop, creeping slowly backwards until they were in about the middle of the bridge.  The cop made a move to stand up but Nick jumped and screamed "Don't move!"  Sarah, now penetrated with fear felt her knees go week and she collapsed in his arms.  Nick dropped the gun to support her and that was the cops chance.  He jumped out from the car door, gun drawn open facing Nick.  "Give me the girl!" He yelled and Nick gave a cold look to him.  He picked Sarah up and took her to the edge of the rail but before he could drop her into the raging river below, a crack rushed through the air and Nick dropped Sarah on the ground.  He screamed and covered his arm with his hand.  Blood oozed from his new wound and the cop stood his ground.1

"let me take the girl" The cop said calmly as Nick grasped his bleeding arm.  "Take her, I have no use for her."  The cop lowered his gun and walked to Sarah, still unconscious.  As soon as he picked her up, Nick grabbed his gun from the ground and pointed it at the cop.  "I was going to make it easy and just kill the girl, but now I see I get a double murder today."  He chimed threaten.  He pointed the gun at the cop who stood still and just as his finger touched the trigger, backup arrived.  Two police cars drove up and 3 more cops pulled their guns on Nick.2

"Oh thank you!"  Sarah's mom said happily as her daughter ran to her and give her a huge hug.  "Mommy!" She cried as Sarah's tears brushed her mom's face.  They hugged and Jamie came along too, the whole family was back together to celebrate Sarah's return.  They stood hugging then Just as Sarah was about to say that she was sorry, her dad glanced at her and said "Oh Sarah, just to let you know, your grounded for 2 months."  "WHAT!"  Sarah yelled and broke away from her parent's grasp.  "I have been held hostage too long!" Her parents just smiled and all of them went home, reunited.3

"Well that was a good save there Louis"  A cop congratulated his fellow officer, the one who had saved Sarah.  "Ah it was nothing, and as you always say, Thats Vegas!"4
