Thats Vegas Chapter 9

"Let me go!"1

Sarah yelled as Nick bound her with rope.  She struggled to get free but with no prevail.  He took her back into the house and threw her into the closet again, neglecting her binds from before and he walked through out the house, as though looking for something.  His eyes scanned everywhere.2

MEANWHILE-3

Back at the crime scene, a detective was running back to the chief in charge, a piece of paper in hand.  "What is that?" The chief questioned.  The detective panted, "Nick Gapren dropped it, his address is printed on it!"4

"No! Let me go! Put me down!"  Sarah yell and kicked as Nick pushed her over his shoulder 45 minutes later.  "Stop struggling" he winced as her foot struck him in the chest.  I'll stop when you put me down!" she called as he walked over to the SUV from before.  He opened the door and set her down in it, closed the door and walked over to the driver's side, opened the door and got in.  He started up the car and drove off.  5

"where are we going?" Sarah demanded.  "Shut up you foolish girl!" Nick yelled and slapped her face.  "You have been getting on my nerves all night!" He yelled at her.  Sarah rubbed her cheek on her shoulder and glared at him.  "I have been nice to you all night! Now your in for it."  He finished with a loathsome smile.  Sarah went quiet and still as Nick reached behind her seat and pulled out a small handgun.  Sarah eyed it and said "oh God, your gonna kill me aren't you"  Nick smiled and give a small nod.6

Driving down the street, Sarah all the sudden noticed Sirens behind them.  "Damn it!" Nick cried as he sped up, trying to outrun the cop.  "Hold on." He said to Sarah as he sped down the road.  The sirens blasted as the speedometer rose higher and higher, 65 mph....70....80...90... then all the sudden Nick made a hard turn onto a dirt dusty road, throwing dirt in all directions.  Sarah screamed as they sped towards a bridge overlooking a river.  Seeing that the cop was just far enough behind, Nick stopped the car, jumped out and pulled Sarah out too.  He wrapped his arm around her neck and put the gun to her head.  7

Sarah whimpered as The cop jumped out of his car and ducked behind the door.  "Drop the gun!"  He yelled but Nick just pressed it harder against Sarah's head.  "Take one step towards me, and the girl is dead!"8
