Lost in the Dark

My name is Danielle,when I was two years old, I was walking with my mommy and daddy. We were walking in a group and Angel ( my best friend) and I wanted to go into the woods. So we went into the woods and started chasing butterflies and lightening bugs. We were have so much fun that we forgot our way back. We went the way we thought that was the right way but we just kept getting more lost. It was starting to get dark and we could not find our way back and we both were getting real scared. We both screamed and screamed, but no one heard us. It was now real dark and we kept hearing noises. The noises sound like wolves and bears. We snugled together and was really scared now. We also kept hearing russling noise like footsteps. we also heard voices but we were not sure that it was our parents. so we started walking to the noise and then we saw another little girl about four years old and she was lost too. Angel and I asked what your name. She said Sarah. angel asked her how she got lost. she said that she was running away from home because she was not wanted there. We didn't understand because we were two. so we all snuggled and went to sleep. The next day when we woke up we hear more noises and thought it was just animals, but then we heard footsteps and voices and we all started jumping for joy except Sarah. We didn't understand why Sarah was not happy so hear voices. She said she was happy but the way she said it it sounded like she was scared. Angel and I said come with us and you can meet our mommy and daddy. She didn't want to, but as we started to leave toward the voices she decided to come along. Wehn we got closer to the noises we saw Angel's mommy and daddy, but not mine or Sarah. We were wondering where our parents were. But a little later we went walking some more and what do ya know I was my mommy and daddy. I went jumping for joy and was so excited. I asked Sarah Were her parents were and she said they weren't looking for her. Sarah didn't run away she was abandoned and she had not seen her prents for two days now. So my mommy and daddy took her home. We were all excited to see our mommy and daddy again. My mommy and daddy asked if I would like a sister and I said yes. So we went and adopted Sarah and now Sarah and I are sisters. Angel was happy too. We all celebrated and got in trouble a little bit for running off, but did our sweet smile and we got out of it. Now all of us were happy and we all learned a lesson. 1
