**This is from a series/novel I am writing. To sum things up so that you may understand it, Chara has a spirit (simply named Spirit) that emerges from her body and lets her know what she's truly feeling. Except she never wants to listen to it. But Spirit turns out to be much more than Chara's special psychologist. But you'll have to find that out later, if I post anymore.**1

“No, you’re wrong…” 3
Spirit’s voice echoed in the back of Chara’s mind. She emerged and hovered silently over her.4
“It doesn’t hurt you because this is a repetition of the betrayal between your friends. It’s because you have feelings for him. Yes, he disappointed you the same way your friends did. But what hurts you more is the fact that you can’t have him, the fact that he threw himself to another girl. You love him, and you wanted him. That is the reason why the thought of him having sex with another sickens and pains you.”5
The realization set into Chara’s mind, but she could not except it. 6
“No! You lie! I don’t like him, I HATE him! For everything he’s don’t to me and himself. Every since you started showing up, all you ever do is want to make me feel bad.”7
Spirit spoke, “Do you honestly think that is the essence of my existence? You forget who I am? I AM you, I AM your true being, I AM the reality you need in your fantasy.”8
“You may be a part of me but you don’t know me!” Chara shut her eyes tightly while holding her knees to her chest. “You don’t know anything about me, not a thing…”9
Spirit’s face turned to delight. 10
“Oh, really? I don’t know you?” She floated in front of Chara, and lifted her chin so that they met eye to eye.”11
“Look me in the face, and lie to me.” Spirit smiled as she waited for her response.12
A tear fell from Chara’s left eye, but she said nothing. She pushed her away and Spirit glided in back of her again.13
“You know what they say when a human cries from only their left eye. You may be able to fool yourself, but you can NEVER fool me.” And with that, she descended back into Chara’s body.14
“I don’t love him… But why does it hurt so much?” Chara thought to herself, and fell into a deep sleep.15

Sorry for any errors, unedited. This story isnt really meant to be good, its just inspired by something I recently went through. I didnt love the guy, but it just hurts that he went against what I thought he believed in just for sex. My ex friends did that to me a while ago, so thats why it means something to me. I just hate thinking people are one way and they do something else.
