Cravan had been sitting there since the demon had entered the battle, his mech had been cut down like it was nothing, his, the most fear mech pilot in the human world. He was human, but he could move with his mech almost as if he was an Ashtaroth. He was feared and awed, and yet he had been cut down like he was nothing but cotton floating on the wind. He was a little in shock, but he felt lucky that he hadn’t been too severely injured. The gash on his side was nothing compared to some wounds he had had in the past. 1
He was waiting for the backup he had called for, his mech was in ruins, but he always carried an emergency walkie with him just in case. He had gotten into contact with the backup support mechs, telling them not to come until the demon had left, he didn’t know who it was, but the colors had sparked something, he would think of it sooner or later. He had warned the troops no to come in yet and had settled himself to wait it out. They should be heading in soon now, the battle noises were over.2
Cravan heard the voice in his ear and tensed up. He jerked away as quickly as possible and opened his eyes to see who or what was there without his knowing, not even a tingle to warn him as usually happened in battle. He turned toward the voice as he allowed his momentum to carry him towards the entrance about 2 feet. 3
His emerald gaze widened when he saw what had snuck up on him, it was the demon. A female one, but nonetheless completely dangerous if her glowing eyes and glittering fangs were anything to go by. 4
“Hello . . . Human.” She said again in that smoky tone, purring the words all over his nerve endings. Her midnight hair moved in a slight breeze, allowing the faint moonlight to play over the different colors threaded throughout its length. Her skin was pure alabaster, unmarred by any blemishes. She was absolutely perfectly gorgeous as no human could be. The only thing about her that he found rather . . . disturbing, not really unattractive just different, was her fangs, long, pointy, and deadly. Her ears added to her natural beauty, making her seem even more ethereal and exotic.5
“W . . . w . . . what?” He gasped out in shock and as an unconscious reaction.6
She just smiled at him in an incredibly seductive and arousing way. She cocked her head to the side and sniffed the air. “You smell sweet human. I think I need a taste, I am rather parched.” She laughed low and husky.7
He gulped at the image in his mind, her leaning down for a taste and biting him. He was shocked that he was so aroused by the image. He started to move backward some more, away form the aura of seduction surrounding her. He heard a ferocious growl from behind him and saw a huge panther creature sitting at attention at the entrance of the mini cave. He let out a whoosh of air at the size of the beast. It was nearly as toll as him and twice as long, with a shaggy coat of the same shades of her hair.8
“Who are you? What do you want?” He asked in a stronger tone. He braced himself, whatever happened; he was going to be a man about it. He would not whimper and whine just because he was a little uncomfortable. 9
“I am called Sakura Ai Ni-Sar. And I just want to quench my thirst pet.” She purred out. There went his nerves again, tingling at him in way that was a mix between danger and arousal. He heard a slight crackling noise and realized that his hand was on the walkie in his pocket, putting this conversation all over the base. They would realize the situations now.10
“Ni-Sar? It isn’t possible. Ni-Sar is known as the most blood thirst and unregretful mech pilot out there. You can not be he.” He said in a slight whisper as he finally processed her name.11
She laughed at him and was suddenly behind him. “I am Ni-Sar. I hold both those characteristics, plus many more. I am the pride of my kind, the next ruler. I shall be better than my father, as is expected.” She dipped down and scraped her fangs against the main artery on the right of his neck. She scratched the skin just enough to make a thin trail of blood dot out on the surface of his suddenly goose bump filled skin. “I am female and more powerful for it human. Mmmmm . . . You do smell sweet, and taste better.” She laughed as he jerked away.12
He gulped. “I do not wish to die this night Ni-Sar. But if you will find no pity in your soul, I shall gladly wrap my arms snuggly around my destiny.” He sat up and placed his neck where it had been a moment before. She smiled and leaned down to bite deep into the artery which had been teasing her. 13
She jerked up suddenly and put up a force field to protect herself as she felt a bullet coming at the back of her head. She had been too enthralled by the call of his blood and had not noticed until but a moment before it was completely too late, as it was, the barrier but kept the bullet form entering her head, but hit it it did, causing her to drop unconscious. A thin trickle of blood slowly trailing down the side of her face from where the skin had barely broken from the impact of the fast moving bullet.

Brilliant!
Well, I think it's great that you're working with two different situations and bringing the characters together. After all, it's nice to see their different backgrounds and histories and get to know them a little before they join up with each other. Wonderful story, Audalyra. I very much enjoyed it. heh, I liked the woman in it too, she seems cool for a 'bad guy'.

beginning: 5, language: 5, plot: 5, ending: 5, dialog: 5, characters: 5.

Wow! this is great! Very interesting, and you dropped off in just the right spot to keep readers coming back to read the next part! Will you let me know when the next chapter comes out? I'd really appreciate it.
