forever her hero (worked on)

“Help!” She yelled as the frigid water was crashing against the sharp rocks beneath her, “help!” She screamed terrified. Fingers slipping, eyes ablaze, and her life was flashing before her eyes. She didn’t know what to do; she didn’t know why she came. “Why did I come here?” she said to herself. “Why didn’t I just stay home like mom wanted me to?”1

“Elizabeth!!!” She heard her name being called from a number of people way off in the distance. She screamed on top of her lungs.2

“Let’s split up, you go that way and I’ll go this way!” said some frightened voices. “Elizabeth, where are you?!?!”3

“HELP!!!” was the only word she could manage to get out of her. Her fingers began to slip yet again, feet dangling; her arms exhausted and frail, too weak to embrace her own body any longer. She took a deep breath and started to release her grip on the thin vine that was keeping her in one portion. (Suicidal thoughts running through her mind) “I’m sorry...” the words that slipped through her tender lips... She took a long profound breath... “I’m sorry...” she closed her eyes, and leaned back.4

“No!” Brad was racing over to the edge of the rock face, “ELIZABETH!” She didn’t respond to the scream. She was too weak to open her eyes. Her lips parted, about to say something when...5

When a great gust of wind blew through her hair. Her eyes flashed wide open, the blueness of her eyes showed all the confusion, all the pain, it showed the scars of her past life... Her eyes were open but she didn’t see anything around her. She only had seen Brad, who he was, what he meant to her. She didn’t see that he was petrified for her, that he was almost in tears. 6

"Elizabeth, hold on!" he yelled in a terrified tone.7

He yelled as she slipped even further down. The ground started to release underneath him. She didn’t reply; her eyes were gazing at the one she cherished. She wasn’t scared about dyeing, it was like she was in a trance, and there weren’t any expressions on her face. Her grip loosening, waves still crashing, and it was starting to downpour. Lightning flashed like an explosion, beside her. Her face was so pale, a silky white.8

"Someone help me! Please” he screamed for the others. She just stared at him, her face still pale lips turning blue... She gave a smile, as she looked at him in the eyes. Her grasp wasn’t so strong now, and she stepped off the slight support that she had.9

"Please no!" he screamed trying to rupture this trance.10

But it didn’t work...11

Still smiling slowly she closed her eyes, and leaned back. It was down pouring out, the ground was muddy beneath him, thunder was thriving, lightning was flashing, and the waves were roaring on the rocks beneath her. She was slipping out of his hands; the rain was making it brutally hard for him to hold on. He didn’t want her to fall, he couldn’t let her... A flash of lightning struck the tree near him, he seen her face, she was still smiling as if she wanted to fall. A blast of thunder blew, she breathed in sticking out her chest. Her eyes flew open, he looked in them... This time he didn’t see the throbbing pain of her past life, he seen joy and happiness. He could swear that he heard her laugh. 12

"Is this what she wanted?" he asked himself...13

Leaning back her hair was hanging beneath her, the golden strains of her hair shone like the sun... Resembling her eyes... Her hands felt so cold against his hand. She was gradually slipping... Bit by bit... (Until it was just their fingers touching) Her eyes flew open once again and shone like the blue skies, she grinned as she fell... Laughing.... Like she wanted it to happen... He just fell backwards, looking at her falling into the rocks... CRASH! Her body was swept away with the water... Into the deep, just like she wanted... Wiping at the mud on his face, tears streaming down, he just looked at the bottomless waters below. “No…” he whispered to himself, in a last resort trying to outline what had happened. I held her life in my own hands; and she still managed to slip through my fingertips. He thought to himself. Red, blue and white lights exploded behind him, sirens echoing through the dark skies through the rainstorm.
“We called 911; we didn’t know what else to do. Did you find her?” asked Michael. Brad only stared at the ground in disbelief of himself. This isn’t happening… This isn’t happening… He repeated through his mind. It’s all just a dream… He hoped and prayed he was right, but reality came back in an explosion of thoughts running through his head when he had heard terrified shrieks come from below. Jumping to his feet, he ran… He ran like he had never done before. No, not one more person can get hurt tonight! Jumping over banks and diving through brush to get to his friends. Frightened shrieks came from the group of people, pointing and crying. Gradually turning around looking out in the distance, he only had seen the sea cliff, where she had fallen. Everything around him was gloomy like a city black out.
“Ah!” he gasped as he fell tripping, falling to his knees. The mud on his face was so think he could hardly see, wiping it away he got a good look at where he was… Face to face with Elizabeth.
