Silent Murder

“It’s a silent murder. It’s a grave that sings your song.It’s a quite failure-“
As the song played and flow through the room, it only got him deeper into his lonely hole. As he sat, in a daze, on his bed with his feet curled under him and his head pressed against his knees, and a gun- a silencer attached- on his night stand, the song slowly played out.
It couldn’t have always been like this….
Suddenly he got up. He looked like a shadow with piecing green eyes in his dark room. Slowly he made his way across the room and surprisingly grabbed the phone that was right by the gun. Who would he be calling at thing critical moment? It made no sense.
“Hello. You have reached Chianne’s cell. I’m sorry but I’m obviously busy. But ill call you back when I get a chance if I like you. Bye”
He threw the phone across the room in a rage, hitting the edge of his computer desk. It made me wince at the sound. He put his hands in his curly black hair and started pacing back and forth, but you really couldn’t tell what he was thinking. When you looked into his eyes all you saw was fear, but nothing else. Just fear.
“I’m so stupid”
”I’m an idiot. Why did I do that?”
He then crept his way over to the twin bed and sat as if he was waiting. Waiting for what- I may never know. Just when I thought it was all over, he stared at me. He knew I was watching the whole time. He sprang up and his eyes kept an intense gaze on me. He moved like he had the room mapped out because he never took his eyes off of me. Before I knew it his lights shot on and I saw everything.
He gave me a menacing smile while he stuck out his arms toward me. He was covered in blood. With my vision I saw he had slit his wrist and the back of his elbow, but he missed the veins. He just cut way too deep. But I didn’t get it. Why? If he was going to shoot himself, then why slit his wrist? It didn’t make sense. He walked over to his window and screamed “Is this enough for you?” I didn’t know if he was talking to me. I didn’t even pay attention. All I could see was his blood stained windowsill.
“I’m talking to you. Is this enough for you? Is my pain just a show for you?”
I pushed my window open just a little bit more, since he knew I was already his only audience, and they only one that cared to watch. “Please don’t!” I said in an almost whisper, but i know he heard. I tried to stay calm. I didn’t wan t to alarm him or let him know I was getting my phone.
I backed up slowly and just like him, never let my eyes leave his gaze. On my cell phone speed dial one was 911. For one second I bent down to get it, and when I came up, I didn’t see him anymore. All I heard was the music he was listening to. What happened? Where was he? I quickly pressed the one button and called since he wasn’t staring at me anymore.
“911 how may I help you?”
“My neighbor. I think he is trying to kill himself! He needs help now!”
“One moment please.”
“One moment? What the hell. He is trying to commit suicide and you and you care telling me to hold-“
Silence. Did she put me on hold? “Ma’am. I need you to stay calm.” No… then what was it?
