An empty page hold worlds. It holds galaxies. It holds love, beauty, hate, peace, war, and every conceivable facet of the human soul.1

The spoken word holds power, it is true. But a writer with the skill of the greatest orator in his hand can give life to a new reality with the simplicity of a few strokes of the pen.3

Write of love.
Give birth to the intricately beautiful tapestry of love. Grow a garden of exotic flowers and intoxicating scents for a fair maiden. Send forth the valiant knight arrayed in full armor to rescue a princess. Write of the devotion of a lover to his soul mate.4

Write of beauty.
Of a mountain sunrise, the flood of light upon the night-cold stone. Create an ocean, teeming with the rainbows of life. Conceive a galaxy with myriads of stars and planets, each with it’s own legends and histories. Let the reader fly among the clouds as if mounted upon an eagle. 5

Write of purity.
Of the palest beauty that is a lily. Tell of a young child, newborn, innocent and pure, ready to learn what the world has in store. Pour out the greatest truths into the goblet of a page and allow your reader to drink deeply.6

Write of shadow.
The ghosts that wait in shadow and shade. Make a nightmare, the death that rides upon the black steed of night. Give life to the creature, a monster, that relentlessly stalks his prey. The shade that holds a knife to a unwitting victim’s neck.7

Write of hate.
The choking grasp of a coiling snake. Brother turned against brother in a mortal battle. The eternal war between good and evil. A sadistic killed bent on causing pain to those he detests.8

Whatever your subject…write. Place your pen to the paper, your fingers to the waiting keyboard, and give vent to your imagination. Anything can be said, anything can be done. So no matter what inspires you…Write.
