The diary of a lovestruck fool

Entry 1 January 19th 1984 1

'Well thats it i left home i ran away with my one true love simon i writing this on the artic express we are heading out to the mountains to live a quiet live or maybe away from the problems back home we have no posessions we have our love and what we are wearing i look over to my dear simon we found the most beautiful cottage in the outback of the rugged turrain we will work to lead a simple live we could not stay at home our parents did not agree with our love so we left i have to go now because our train is pulling in and someone is waiting for us'2

Entry 2 January 21st 1984 3

'sorry i neglected to write for a day we were so busy settling in it is not home but it will be my house for the future simon is out looking for work at the moment but i.m starting to worry because a blizzard is falling in and the truck is off the road so he went on foot ah he has just come in with a bright face and bags full of groceries i better go help stack them away'4

Entry 3 January 22nd 1984 5

'I wrote home today here is the letter i wrote: 6

My Dearest Mama,7

               Please do not think i left because of you i left because of my duty to love and i love simon you did not agree with us so we left we are leading a simple but cheerful life i know this letter is short but i do not have much to say also do not mind the tear stains they are tears of pure emotion and please not try to find me because i'll never forgive you if you did 8

i could not leave with out an explanation so i wrote this  well simon has come in from his first day at work i better start the fire and put supper on to heat'11

Entry 4 Febuary 3rd 1984 12

' These past two weeks have been terrible i had hoped moving away would make us stronger but the isolation has pulled us apart for the first time in our relationship he had hit me i was both shocked and confused  i was considering of moving back home but that would mean i was surrendering i will stay i will be a good wife also the natural beauty here is breath taking here is simon now i had tried my best to conceal the mark i hope it will not upset him'13

Entry 5 Febuary 5th 198414

'This may well be my last entry yesterday simon had stripped me and shoved me under the stairs now i am cold hungary and gripping on to life why do i have to be so strong willed? if i left i would be safe and happy also how could i be so blind as not to see the monster simon is he is banging on the door now i would like to say goodbye and to say sorry to my mama and say i lov........ 15

A young women named Sarah Worcombe aged 21 was found in her home yesterday evening after the reports of screaming from a passer by she had been stripped by her husband who we cannot name  and beaten till her last breath on earth the injuries to her body were astounding although her husband has already pleaded guilty the trial will be held tomorrow at noon  17
