Basic Karma

Natasha look around the hallway class was about to start but she had to see her boyfriend before then she had something extremely important to tell him. While she waited on Chris she began to think back on the two years that she had been dating Chris. 1


She remembered when she and Chris had met. It had been at Chris’s cousin Brandon had a party
she had spotted him across the room he was tall , dark and handsome and when he smiled her knees almost buckled. Then he began to walk towards her and her heart beat faster her breath quickened. They danced and talked the whole night away . They had started dating a week later when he had called her and asked her out . They dated for about 8 months before one night in the back seat of his car. She gave him her virginity. 2


She slowly came out of her thoughts as she felt someone kiss her on the cheek she looked u to see the love of her life.3

“ Hey baby what are you doing your gonna be late for class.”4

“Chris there’s something majorly important that we need to talk about.”5

“Babe I have football practice. Can it wait?” He asked as he began to walk down the hallway.6

“No Chris it cant wait.” Her voice sounded loud in the empty hallway. “It cant wait because I ......Im pregnant Chris and its yours. You need to miss practice so we can talk.”7


She watch with her breath held as she heard him mutter a swear word under his breath and then he turned he looked like he was gonna be sick.8

“Yes I am sure I went to the doctor im 8 weeks pregnant.”10

“ Well I don’t care if its mine. I think we should break up. I cant handle this right now tasha I graduate in a few months then im off to college and you’ll still be in highschool. You’ll just have to handle this your self. Like I said I have bal practice see ya.”11

As she stared he walked down the hall hurriedly and her knees gave out she fell to the ground sobs racking her body. What was she gonna do her parents were gonna kill her. She was keeping this baby and she was gonna make sure her and her child had a great life starting by finishing school.13

she did it instead of two more years of school she had taken the GED and was now a graduate and she was five months pregnant. She was swollen like a whale but she had a lot of help her parents had kicked her out when shed become pregnant and shed moved in with her best friends and her family and they supported her in every way they knew how. In a few months she was gonna have a beautiful baby girl. She’d finished school and gotten a job and Britt’s mother was planning to pay for her college until she could afford to pay her back. She knew she could do this she didn’t have a choice.20

On May 18th the day Chris graduated from highschool with a scholarship sending him to college. Tasha gave birth to a baby girl 8 pounds 3 ounces with dark brown hair and greenish yellow eyes. The little girls name was Paige Diane Slaton. 25

The constant buzz of the alarm clock brought Tasha out of a deep sleep. Her head was killing her and her back hurt. She had just turned 29 and she felt a hundred. She had a thirteen year old daughter. She was a single mom and she was a enterprising distract attorney. She had worked so hard to get were she was her daughter had everything she ever needed and almost everything she had ever wanted she went to the best school they had a nice home and had nice things. She had busted her butt to be able to provide for her and her child. She sighed as she climbed out of bed to wake up paige to help her get ready for school. Her little girl loved school she was only 13 but she has already skipped several grades she was a sophomore in high school she would graduate the same month she turned fifteen. She finally reached the door to her daughters room.31


“Wake up paige baby your gonna be late if you don’t put the lead out.”
She heard an alien type groan from under the cover which she took to mean that she to mean that paige was awake . She went to her bed room to get ready for work. When she went down stairs . The eggo’s were already in the toaster. They ate quickly while paige went over her homework one last time. 32

“Paige baby don’t forget that Aunt Britt is picking you up from school and you’ll be staying the night.”33

“Okay mom so I take it you have a date with that Chance guy you work with.”34

“Yes me and Chance have a date tonight is that alright with you ?”35

They climbed in the car and headed to the school. After paige had been dropped off tasha headed for work She had almost made it down the hallway to her office when a strong hand grabbed her around the waist and pulled her in to a room. She was pushed up against a wall while he kissed her.38

“ Hey honey I missed you this weekend.”39

“ I know Chance but Paige was getting ready for a big week in school. You know big tests. However if you let me go and let me get some work done then we have a whole night together tonight Paige is at Brittany’s house.”40

“Alright alright go get your work done but ill be at your house tonight at eight.” He said as he slapped her on the butt.42


She could hardly concentrate since she was thinking about Chance so much finally she looked up and the clock said six she could finally go home and get ready for chance. She finished what she was doing and then left she arrived home around six thirty. The first thing she did was call britts house and check on paige. Once she knew her baby girl was safe she went to prepare dinner and while it was in the over and went to shower. When she got out of the shower she slipped on the red silk and black lace spaghetti strap slip dress the fell several inches above her knee showing off well toned tan legs. And the spaghetti straps showed off toned and tan arms. She also slipped on a pair of black heels . She wore no jewelry and very little make up her hair was a very dirty blonde that fell to her waste and had a natural and very slight wave to it especially in the heat. She looked in the mirror and smiled she looked pretty good for an almost thirty year old mom. She heard the door bell and walked down the stairs.43

“ Hey Chance. Your right on time dinners almost ready.”45

He took her in his arms and kissed her a kiss filled with the slow burning heat of passion and blazing fires.46

“Hmmm can dinner wait a little while.”47

“Yes.” She said on a gasping breath and she slide his hand over her silken thigh. They stumbled backwards towards the stairs. When they reached the stairs he bent and picked her up in his arms carrying her up the stairs. She was kissing his neck nibbling the whole way to her bedroom were he finally sat her back on her feet.48


They kissed and this wasn’t a kiss about sex it was a kiss filled with passion and caring and love real honest nothing can stop it true love. Slowly he bent and slide her shoes off her slender feet then kissed each toe then the arch of the foot causing her to gasp. 49


His hand slid up her leg and found her without panties and already dripping wet. He slid one finger inside her causing her to cry out in the feeling of being filled. Her hip bucking wildly against his finger. 50

He was standing before her in eloquent beauty all she could think when she saw him like this is of a god he looked like a god tall, dark, tan and strikingly handsome. He moved forward and slipped her dress off her body and shoe stood before him gloriously naked for him to look his fill and he did he looked so long she began to squirm wanting him so much she couldn’t stand to wait. 51


Finally after what seemed like an eternity he moved and lay down next to her kissing her down her neck. Then taking one nipple in his mouth as he took the other in his hand and began plying her body with more torture or passionate pleasure. Her head was spinning and she was seeing stars. 52


She couldn’t remember when it happened but he had removed his boxers and was slowly entering her causing her to gasp at the fullness him being inside her caused. He began moving in and out of her with the universal rhythm of passion. Finally she exploded she saw rainbows of colors before her eyes as her body shutter to completion. “ I know that you have a daughter and I love paige she’s great and you and her are a package so I would rather ask this in front of her but..... Natasha renna slaton will you do the honor of becoming my wife and allowing me to adopt paige and have her as my daughter.”57

She gasped out loud not sure what to say she laid there for what seemed like forever.58

“Baby are you gonna answer the question???”59


“Yes Chance I will marry you and I would love for you to adopt paige she needs a daddy. Oh god Chance I love you so much.”60

It was her wedding day she and chance were getting married she began thinking back on her life and she thought.69


If Chris hadn’t abandoned me and paige all those years ago I would have never found chance I would have been in a very bad marriage to a man I didn’t love but Chris isn’t all bad he cant be because he gave me paige and by leaving me he gave me chance. So where ever you are thank you Chris thank you for everything.70

She smiled as she headed down the ile Chance and there daughter waiting at the end of the ile now there family would be complete with one small addition she had yet to tell chance about she caught herself before her hand could slide to her still slender abdomen that in a few months would be swollen with Chances child. She would tell him the news tomorrow after they got to Ireland for there honeymoon.72


When she finally stood before chance she smiled. Knowing that though the first part of her life had been rough the rest would be bliss because she had a husband she loved a daughter she couldn’t live without and another child or possibly children growing inside her. She was secretly hoping for twins. She started when the priest touch her arm.73


She looked in chance’s eyes “I do.”74


The priest smiled” well then chance you may kiss the bride.”75
