Battle of Sorin and Mahou

"Ara... Anou... Evangeline-sensei... why do I have to...?" Sorin started out, backing into the wall of the villa. He gulped as he watched five people advance on him. Evangeline laughed very evilly as she stood in the back, watching the slightly scared Sorin. "Because... you only seem to come to me when you are not at the peek of your powers... so I'm going to teach you a lesson Boya..." She said as she looked at Sorin's assailents. Mana, Kaede, Chachamaru, Ku Fei, and Setsuna approached, each with their own weapons, and each with their own reason's for training with Sorin.

"Hai Sorin-chan... we'll make it so that you become stronger..." Mana said as she didn't look at him, but just pulled out two automatic pisols, and cocking them back.1

Sorin scratched the back of his head, still with a confused and sheepish smile on his face. "Ara... still... I can understand sparring... but having me go serious on my friends... I don't know if I can do that Sensei..."2

"Sorin-bozu... you said so yourself that you want to be pushed beyond the limit of human capability de gozaru..." Kaede said softly as she tied her hair up, and the huge Shurikin that she was famous for appeared. "So... let's push you de gozaru..."3

Sorin's eyes grew wide. "Ara... that's... that's... huge... and... scary Kaede-sempai..." Sorin said as he gulped. [i]I've faught a lot of things before... but this is new...[/i] he said softly, looking at the Shurikin.4

"Sorin-kun... please do not think of us as friends at the moment... we are here because Master told us that you needed to be stronger... and we'll help as much as we can... so please... do not hold back... or else... you may be hurt... and the purpose of this fight will be in vain..." Chachamaru said softly as blades appeared from her wrists, a new weapon that Chao and Satomi added for her.5

Sorin took a deep breath... and then laughed as he started to inch away from them. "Still... I don't wanna fight... it's not a good idea to promote violence..." Sorin said before he saw a blur, and the stone near his head shattered. Sorin jerked back, and his hand flew to his sword.6

"Teehee... that's good aruyo... you are to be stronger and faster through battle experience aruyo..." Ku Fei said as she winked, and pulled back her fist. "Show us how strong you are... and we won't do this again... don't worry Sorin-bozu... we're tough... we went through a lot with the tournament... and now... a fight with a friend will be boring... a fight with a stronger person will be good for us too..."7

Sorin released his sword, and sat down as he scratched his head again. "arr... if I must..."8

Setsuna stepped close, her heart beating again... she didn't forget their kiss...9

"Sorin-chan... fight... and win... if you do... we'll know who you are truly... please... do not fear... we have friendship forever... and because of that... we'll understand if we get hurt... that means that we were beaten by a person whom was beyond our level... you shouldn't be selfish..."10

Sorin, blushing too, looked up. "Selfish...?"11

"She's right Boya..." Evangeline said softly as she floated down to their level. "It's not only training for you... but for all of them... do you really wish to rob them of fighting someone who can help them...?"12

Sorin took another deep breath, and stood up, his eyes closed. The girls stepped back. Sorin walked foward slowly... They followed... and when he stopped... they surrounded him. Mana aimed her guns, Kaede stepped back, her arm flexing around her Shurikin. Chachamaru crouched, and her blades gleamed as she got ready to lunge foward. Ku Fei got into the traditional Martial arts stance, and there was no smile on her face as she watched Sorin. Setsuna drew her sword, and got into a stance that would have made the Zantetsusen very easy to pull off. Evangeline smiled as she looked down at them. [i]Good luck everyone... you'll need it against that Boya...[/i]13

"Okay... I'll fight you... seriously..." Sorin said softly, his eyes now opened. Everyone was taken aback, even Evangeline. His eyes were dark, and very cool and serious. The girls around him felt the soft spot in their hearts for him grow, Sorin no longer being just the funny, sweet boy they all knew and loved, but now... he was a cool, very handsome, and hot man who was closer than ever...14

Sorin suddenly vanished...15

Kaede looked around, her eyes wide. "Instant movement?"16

Evangeline grinned. "wrong..."17

Sorin appeared behind Kaede, before anyone could react, and slashed using his battoujutsu, and slashed through the Shurikin, and then vanished again. Before the cut even appeared, and Sorin appeared again in the air. Chachamaru and Ku Fei jumped, aiming to attack Sorin. Setsuna ran into the midde, and then drew. "Zankuusen Ni no Tachi!" She cried, slashing. The air currents passed through Ku Fei and Chachamaru, unharming them, but speeding them up. Sorin dodged the attack, only to be faced with Chachamaru's flashing blades.18

During this time, Mana pointed up, and closed one eye. [i]there...[/i] She shot 18 shots with her concussor bullets, a small spread, all aiming for around Sorin. Three at the head, four the torso, eight for his legs, three at his sword arm, and the remainin two at his left hand. 19

Ku Fei used a bullet to jump at a very high rate of speed, and got behind Sorin. She then she drew back her fist, and Ki surrounded it. Without hesitation, she punched.20

Sorin drew his sheath from his belt, blocking the blades of Chachamaru. It rattled him and flipped him, the sheath torn from his hands as Mana's bullets reached him. He tucked into a ball, so that the bullets wouldn't hit their original targets, but as he did, three buried into his left shoulder, spinning him. Two grazed his cheeks, the searing hot metal dissorienting and almost knocking Sorin out. The pain slowed him down, and he fought the urge to scream out, blood splurting from the wound in his shoulder.21

Sorin looked, and suddenly, Ku Fei's fist slammed into his exposed stomach. Sorin slammed into the ground, a crater formed around his still body, sprawled spred eagle, looking up. Suddenly, Kaede came into his veiw, weilding the Shurikin that he had cut. She threw the one in her left hand, and Sorin brought up his sword to block it. Still confused and hurt, Sorin was an instant too late as the Shurikin's blunt side ripped Sorin's sword from his hand. Sorin looked to where his sword landed, only to have the other one slam into his shoulder. Sorin flew foward, and landed hard next to his sword, bouncing and skidding.

Sorin's eyes opened, and he struggled to stand up. Normaly, he would have gone down long ago... but her promised, and swore to fight seriously... and he wouldn't let them down...22

Kaede landed, and smiled at him. "Gomen Sorin-bozu... but this fight is now very serious..." She took a deep breath, and crouched down. "kage bunshin no jutsu..." Kaede said as she split into 16 forms... Chachamaru landed, throwing Sorin's sheath behind her. "Damage calculation, 87%..." She said in her soft voice, an almost sorrowful look in her eyes.23

Ku Fei landed next to her, and grinned and winked. "Are you okay Sorin-bozu...?" she asked as she rearranged the braclets around her wrist. 24

Setsuna appeared next to Ku Fei, silent. She knew, along with Evangeline, that this would be the most dangerous time. Evangeline looked down at him. [i]C'mon Boya... I know you can do better... fight...[/i]25

Mana reloaded, and stayed back. Her rifle was strapped to her back, and she took aim again.26

Sorin stood, shaky on his feet, blood flowing from various wounds on his body. He placed a hand on his katana, the braided hilt cool in his hand. He looked at the gleaming metal. [i]Once again old friend... let's battle, and win...[/i]27

Sorin's hand suddenly gripped the sword, and instead of Instant Movement, he used the Shukuchi that he was known for. Before the others could react, Sorin had vanished, and was rushing at them.28

Chachamaru jumped back, her eyes following...29

Sorin reached the clones of Kaede, and knew that only four of them could fight, so he ripped through them using the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu School's Kuzuryusen. Sorin then skidded to a stop, his blood slicked shoes hitting something. Sorin kicked up his sheath, and caught it. He looked up, and the remaining seven clones of Kaede rushed foward, getting ready to strike.30

Ku Fei finally saw Sorin stop, and she filled both fists with Ki, and started to run foward, moving faster than normal people could.31

Mana pulled out her rifle, and took aim...32

"ROKUREN!" Sorin roared, slashing six times with sheath and sword at Kaede, forgetting in the heat of battle. After four of the clones were taken down, the original Kaede caught the sword.33

"Target, found..." Mana said softly, and the Sheath was shot out of Sorin's hand. Sorin hissed as he felt the bullet's impact rattle his body, adding to the injuries that were already standing.34

Evangeline smiled as she pointed. "Watch your back Boya..."35

"Zantetsusen!" Setsuna roared, slashing at Sorin, her sword filled with ki. It was rushing at Sorin's exposed back. Ku Fei reached Sorin, and she swung her fists at Sorin's ribs, and Kaede, still grabbing Sorin's sword, went for a roundhouse kick. 36

Sorin's eyes flashed silver, and suddenly, felt a rush of power surge through him.37

Sorin let go of the sword, and twisted, riding the air way that Setsuna created when she missed. He grabbed Kaede's foot, and twisted it so that Kaede was forced to flip. She saw Ku Fei rushed foward, her fist filled with ki. She, without thinking, slammed her foot into Ku Fei's shoulder, knocking down her fist, and forcing to to hit the ground. Ku Fei was blown back by her own powers, and Kaede fell on her back. Sorin grabbed his sword as it fell to the ground.38

Kaede flipped up, and turned, just to see Sorin's fist clip her temple, knocking her out with the least amount of pain. Sorin caught her before she fell, and set her down gently.39

Chachamaru watched... following with her eyes, analyzing...40

Suddenly, Sorin heard the clip of the magazinge going into a gun, and the hammer cocking back. Sorin turned, and saw the rush of 24 bullets all fly twoards his head and torso. Sorin jumped back, and sheathed and drew at a very high rapid speed, knocking bullets away with a small sonic boom from the Hiten school battoujutsu.41

"Nani?" She said as she suddenly saw Sorin vanish, and appeared behind her. "Jakuzankuusen!" Sorin cried, slashing. Sorin didn't contact, but she was blown away, and hit her head on the ground.42

Sorin turned again, and saw a flash of steel, and raised his sword to parry Setsuna's sword. Sorin felt himself sink into the already broken tiles. Setsuna then turned, and slashed at Sorin's back. Sorin felt the bite of steel into the flesh of his back. Sorin fell to his knee, and then pivoted to slam his hilt into her abodomen. Both Sorin and Setsuna fell, save Setsuna was knocked out, and Sorin was bleeding from the various wounds on him. His left eye was closed, having gotten injured when Ku Fei hit him... and he thought it was over...43

Suddenly, Sorin felt a cold arm grab his throat and throw him up. He had forgotten about Chachamaru... She used her rockets to jump, and she slashed at Sorin. Sorin felt a blade cut into his ribs, and a steely foot slam into the wound given to him by Setsuna. "GAH!" he cried, fighting his body's reaction to pass out.44

Sorin then felt the same foot slam into his stomach, and once again, was thrown into the earth below him. Sorin felt a rib and vertebre crack, and coughed out blood. Chachamaru, hovering, closed her eyes.45

"Forgive me Sorin-chan..." She said softly, before flying twoards him, her blades flashing.46

Chachamaru and Evengeline's eyes grew wide, and both looked at Sorin's sword that was burried into Chachamaru's right shoulder. Sorin, taking advantage of that, slammed his head into her's, shutting down her softwear for a moment.48

He had done it...49

Sorin fell, panting deeply, holding his ribs. He was on his knees, and felt the blood flow from his body. Evangeline landed next to him softly. She smiled as she set a hand on his head.50

"Get some sleep boya... you deserved it..."'51

Sorin smiled very softly. "Hai... tell the others... I'm sorry..."52

With that... Sorin blacked out.53
