Eve sat with her spirits, hidden in serentity. Pondering the strange circumstances in which she had been exiled. Caring not, for the choice had been hers and she had made it. She took a deep intake of breath. Letting the wind flow through her long golden hair. Letting the sounds of the night fill her elven ears, making her one with the forest's life. For some reason the wind kept calling, breaking her focus and reflection. Unsure why the woods seemed to rustle with uncertainty. In her mind she knew what it was, but her heart refused to accept its presence. Just as before, she can hear the screams whisper before they happen. She got up, listening for the source but there was confusion in the woods, and little was as it seemed. Her senses pulled her to her feet and led her into the heart of the woods. Her weapon remained sheathed and her feet carried her swiftly over the roots as she wound her way into the forest depths.2

Wandering alone in the woods, It seems deadly silent. Elven traits have aloud her to listen to the elements and hear in a way their thoughts. As long as her spirit remained loyal to them they can help her along the journey. Lightly treading on the dark path, wondering where instinct will guide her.3

Rikarah leers as she towers over the young man, holding his shoulders as she pressed his back harshly against the rotting oak of the forest tree. She spoke directly into his face, her sinister hiss drowning out his shrill, terrified shrieks.5

" ot such a macho man now, are you?"6

There was no reply from her conquest; he only whimpered. His body, much taller and broader than hers, shaking in fear of the small, rather lovely woman who so strongly kept him immobile. Rikarah's mouth slowly stretched into a malicious grin. She loved these moments... To see a fully grown, 200 pound man shiver in terror at his fate.7

She had been watching him for some time now. She loved to watch people. Hiding silently in the dark, and sometimes even in the bright light of the day. Witnessing their secret moments, what they did when they thought none knew. But she knew. She knew, and when appropriate, she often punished.8

She had seen this man in his home several times now, watched the way he terrorized his children. Smacked his wife around for everything she did that he perceived as disobedient. And then, after blackening her eyes, bruising her arms, he would leave, on the arm of a young, ignorant blonde.9

Rikarah had found a way to use this to her advantage. She had become his newest blonde. In a manner of speaking, for she herself was a brunette. Once his ego soared, she had led him to the woods, promising a fun date. But her idea of fun greatly differed from his.10

Now she stood before him, extracting the knife from inside her coat. She held it high, teasing him with its sharpeness.11

Eve heard a struggle ahead of her. Running to the edge of a small clearing in the trees. A man lay helpless before a looming woman holding a weapon. Silently, Eve pulled out her long elven bow, and called the winds to ease her shot. Seeing the man on the ground, she did not know the situation. Instead of aiming for either one's body she shot at the knife.12

Arching back and straighting her sights, the arrow flew with perfect aim. The winds speeding it out towards the knife. It hit the hilt of the knife perfectly, spearing it from the woman, who was yanked sharply sideways from the blow to her weapon. The man looked up at Eve in astonsishment, but the woman, noticing her too, seemed more angry then surprised.13

Eve put her bow back and pulled out two elven daggers. Her silver chain mail blew slowly in the wind as she approached the two with confidence and purpose. The man tried to run but the women pulled him and threw him to the ground.14

"Who are you, what is happening." Eve says calmly to the two suspicious humans before her.15

Rikarah stared at the girl who had appeared so silently and suddenly, effectively interrupting her and her deadly game. Head burned with fury, and mouth twisted into a sardonic, very unhappy grin, She stepped closer; Her small frame clearly still able to easily overpower the girl's. Her knife was back in her clenched fist. The man remained curled in a ball on the floor, shaking and whimpering. Rikarah ignored him for the moment; she had other matters to deal with.17

"That, child, is none of your concern." she said dryly. " Or, it wouldn't have been, had you not interrupted. But now I'm afraid you have made it so."18

Author notes

Collaberators: WhiteGirl and Jinxgirl. This is a strange from of collaberation. The entire story is taken from a group Role Playing Game I began on my group a while ago. The Three main characters (not including the whimpering man. My character has not yet been introduced) were all written seperately by me and my two Role Playing gals. It became such a good story that I wanted to collect it into a book so here is the beginning. More will come very soon, enjoy.
