afterallunseen:  ...Jrejoris is very wise.7

napan919lessthanQ:  HA!  I knew it!  so what's the problem?  need help with your research?  and don't waste your time asking how I knew.8

afterallunseen:   you know my worst fear is to become predictable.  do not tease me.9

napan919lessthanQ:   that's a joke, right?  cuz um...u're the most predictable person i know.  10

afterallunseen:  another was taken.11

napan919lessthanQ:  oh.12

napan919lessthanQ:   it's happening so much more often now...are you going to be sent?13

afterallunseen:  Jrejoris feels that today's case does not require any of our aide.  he is confident in this, but still he fears something.  when I asked what that might be, he mentioned the prophecies and stated he cannot answer me now because of some unknown risk which he REFUSES to inform me on!!!!!!14

napan919lessthanQ:  ...is he EVER gonna let you leave?  15

afterallunseen:  when the time is right16

napan919lessthanQ:  i'll look up the prophecies for you, if you like17

afterallunseen:  i can do it myself.  i am quite capable18

napan919lessthanQ:  in that case i'll be logging off.  i want to see today's events for myself.  19

afterallunseen:  pay special attention to the speed of movement.  later, Aba20

napan919lessthanQ:  k later21

"PAVTEL 600 IS NOW ON STANDBY," the mechanical voice informed him as he hopped off his seat.  "Thanks, Pav," he replied nonchalantly while shutting the door.  22

Aba made his way down the corridor and began to mentally prepare himself for the lecture Jrejoris was sure to give him.  Technically, it was against protocol to visit the cockpit at any time other than scheduled lessons or selective conferences.  He didn't care.  It was imperative that he keep himself up-to-date with all recent disapearances on earth.  This wasn't information he could find on the web, for it was written in the stars alone, and not many aboard The Schoposs could interpret them.  23

The cockpit consisted of one large open area in a curved dome like shape protected from the pheres by transparent walls on all sides, including the ceiling, with numerous adjoining doorless rooms which served as study halls and libraries.  Available to students were public consoles controlled by mentor passwords and such to protect authorized personnel and information remaining undisclosed.   Jrejoris was at this moment pacing the far left corner of the main library, which had a separate entrance accessible from the corridor, and was intently reading a maroon book that seemed larger than the professor himself.  The stacks of books and parchments towered around him and the multicolored bindings enhanced the profile of his light gray body.  24

Aba curiously leaned around the corner and into the doorway of the library.  "Excuse me, professor?"  25

Jrejoris stopped his pacing, turned to face Aba, and finally looked up from his book. 26

"Sorry, but would you mind if I came in for a while?  I heard about what happened today."  27

"Yes..." Jrejoris frowned slightly, then sat in a nearby chair  and slouched as he continued to read.28

Aba was shocked.  To find the aging Lecirri in such a distracted mood was beyond rare.  Constant awareness was his most emphasized lesson.  In fact, Aba expected that Jrejoris would have sensed his coming, and been standing in the doorway waiting for him to arrive.  But there he sat, consumed by whatever book he held, not even seeming to care if Aba lingered in their airborne university's most sacred classroom.29
