Dreamer of Mysteries

Have you ever looked at the stars? More beauty can be seen in their glimmering eyes than in any creation of earthly hands. The wonders and mystery that dwell between the diamonds of the darkened sky entrance us. What are we that we should be graced with such celestial majesties? Who am I that I would be allowed to speak openly and plainly with such beauty’s creator? Honestly, I deserve nothing of this. There are so many failures that I must claim as my own, with no excuse.
The stars bring passion to my heart; passion to reach them, passion to live a life that would truly honor their creator. But am I capable of that? There are areas of my life that are far from right…both visible and invisible. I can do nothing more than pray that someday I will be able to have the humility, passion, love, grace, honesty, and wisdom that I so long for. I have years ahead of me for my King to bring about this change, and the day will not be soon enough. So give me more of you…let me swim in your love and drown in the sweetness of your grace. Give me the wings to soar through the spacious halls of your dwelling place, and the wisdom to lead others upon this path of truth. There is so much more I dream of and want. Honor me with the desires of your heart, and the consuming passion for You that I truly need. This is my prayer to the creator of the stars, the dreamer of mysteries, the King of truth, the Judge of eternity, and the giver of wisdom.

One night under the stars could produce very good writing. Sounds like David writing a Psalm. I read a story of yours this morning right before church. I am reading this one after church and after work. Very good and refreshing to read. Like a meditation.
