Did the water burn or comfort him? he couldnt decide. Where had he seen him before?? He knew those eyes, they were wso piercing, impossible to forget. Ruyu skimmed his fingers across the water's surface wishing he knew the answer. If only he knew, this wouldnt bother him so much. 1
Maybe i just need to forget it, he said hopefully. I need to practice for chamber anyway, he thought hoisting himself out of the tub, spilling water on the floor. 2
It was, after all, just a dream. He thought drying himself off. After dressing, he walked into his living room, and opened his violin case. One of the few things that didnt confuse him, or aggrivate him. He pulled the instrument out with care, and cleaned the rosen off the strings delicately. Next the bow, he tightened the hair and slicked it with dark rosen. He pulled out the music thoughtfully; vivaldi : the four seasons. Dragging the bow across the strings, he hit an instant tranquil focus. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, he played each precislely letting the air around him sing with the last note of each movement, the sound seeming to drift on forever. Ryu set down carefully. "I wonder if antyhing could ever be as equally beautiful?" he grinned unsurely, Maybe love? he thought, softly toughing the violins neck. "no." he said aloud, nothing can surpass the beauty of that. He closed the case3
