The Child

"Daddy, where are you going?" asked Lydia as she wiped her eyes of tears.1

The dad was packing his sleeping bag, he had a few bottles of beers to the bag he then pushed the girl out of the way and grunted, "B@$t@rd!" then ran out. Lydia chased after him, but then was knocked unconscious by her dad's hurtful punch. She stayed there until 12:00 and then she got up and found a dead body on the couch. "Mama..." Lydia whimpered.2

    Lydia

I just kinda reacted because my sister is named Lydia. It is a pretty unusual name. Your ballad is nice, though I find the grammar and flow of it to be rather messy. But then also it is up to you how you write your poem.
