Oblivian (Scene One)

Main Characters:1

Olivia: Main character. 18 years of age. Runs away from home after foster-father tries to rape her. He chases her and ends up killing her with a handgun. She is saved by a strange man who keeps her alive. Becomes a (?) and takes revenge on those who wronged her.2

Saegan: Stranger of night who saves Olivia from dying. He becomes her teacher and master, possible lover. Has a strange dark power and aura about him.3

Ernest Millen: Olivia’s foster-father. Hates her and tries to rape her in the beginning. Once she returns, he freaks out and attempts to kill her again. Fails and dies from burning.4

Zach Liguria: Agent of the Paranormal Investigations Bureau, or PIB. Discovers Olivia’s secret and hunts her as well as Saegan down to capture and study them.5

Additional characters will be added as the story continues.6

(Scene 1: Houses on the edge of a forest. Time: Night. Scene begins with fade-in above and slow zoom to small rural house, namely Olivia’s. The lights turn on and Ernest is heard yelling. Zoom in through bedroom window to Ernest holding Olivia’s wrist and hitting her across the face.)7

Olivia (crying): Please, please stop!8

(Another hit and lets go of her wrist.)9

Ernest: I’m tired of your backtalk and you saying what I do ain’t right.10

(He kicks her in the stomach; she hunches over, holding stomach.)11

Ernest: I took you in out of the good of my heart and you ain’t been anything but trouble. The only good thing out of you I get is that nice fat check from your social worker I gets each month. I don’t haf’ta put up with you. And I’m gonna teach you to obey your master!12

(He reaches down and pulls her legs apart, holding them down with his knees. One hand holds her wrists against the wall as the other fiddles with his zipper.)13

Olivia (screaming): No, please, please! No, don’t!14

(He reaches up and smacks her across the face.)15

Ernest: You shut up or you gonna get me in trouble. And I don’t think we want that. (Pats the handgun in his back pocket.) I don’t give a rat’s ass about you or your social worker. I’d just tell her you ran away and I’d still get that nice check.16

(He goes back to his zipper as she pulls on his hand. Scene switch. Dark room with man in them. Only lips visible. Instant zoom at line.)17

??? (whispered): Run. Come to me.18

(She stops and hears the voice, then arches her back and bites down on Ernest’s wrist hard as he reaches for her skirt. He pulls back and lets go, yelling out in pain. Free, Olivia runs out the door of her room and out of the house, into the woods frantically. Ernest recovers and follows, close behind her. She runs for 2 minutes, then trips over tree branch. Trying to get up, Ernest stands over her holding the gun aimed straight at her.)19

Olivia (breathless): God….someone please…help me…20

Ernest: You aren’t worth anything, you know that? Not to me, God or anyone else.21

(Tears run down her face as he pushes her with his foot so she is looking straight at him and holds it down against her stomach.)22

Ernest: Say goodnight and goodbye, little bitch.23

(Fast scene cuts to running man in black, her eyes close, shot from gun, eyes open and then roll back in head. Slows down with him walking away, smoke from the barrel. A moment passes, then mysterious man enters. Shot from the back, he kneels down and touches her face, brushing away a tear. Move camera down to see shot in chest as he puts his hand over it. Face shot, only lower half of face. He picks up her body, stares at her face, then walks away with her. Fade to black. Scene 1 end.)24
