Tick.1

Tock.2

Have you noticed that everyone wants to live forever? 3

[Tick.]4

[Tock.]5

If you turn around to anyone, and remind them that they could be dead tomorrow, you're called morbid. But its the one and only thing that is guaranteed in this life. The only thing that has probable certainty of happening. 6

[Tick]7

[Tock..]8

Maybe its not that, that scares people. Maybe its because it doesn't come with a time tag, which means you're constantly living on eggshells, when something as selfishly important as your life is considered.9

[Tick, tick, tick.]10

[Tock.]11

Maybe, just maybe, its the fear of not being remembered that terrifies people the most. The feeling that as soon as they die, their progress on the planet they live on, will just cease to exist. Boom. Like that. And their memories will be nothing. And the family you have will grieve for a while, and time will heal those wounds eventually. Nothing will be left of them, but passing thoughts in history lessons by their descendants.12

[Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.]13

The magic in the smiles, and the unique talent will just die with them.14

[Tick..]15

But maybe the biggest reason people might fear death, is that it undermines their entire reason of living in the first place.16

[Tock.]17

The sands in the hour glass can't be stopped.18

And the hour glass cannot be turned over.19

Tick..20

Tock?21

Author notes

I'm going to change the title eventually. And yea, this is an on going story. I wrote about three four sides of A4 in a bubble of music one lunch time.

It all links together, eventually. But this is what I started off with.

Er...I'm rather delerious now, lemme know what ya think, what ya like, dont like, if it makes sense... blah blah blah...

    Nice.
Nice honesty. Very clean and deliberate.
The clock ticking was effective, if not a little
    cliche.
    Keep it Up.

    This is amazing.
One of the biggest things that drives me insane, is the fact that when I die, my existance will be erased, and no one will remember me.
    Very well written.
