In love with love 3

He never judged her.  I believe that's what she loved most about this guy.  He listened to her problems, even at ungodly hours of the night he listened, and gave advice as much as he could.  He never dated in high school.  It wasn't important to someone like him.  He had his boys, his best friends, and that's all he'd really need because the drama of a girlfriend just didn't appeal to him.  I don't blame him.  But she always had a guy by her side.  Whenever one dumped her, or she dumped him, another one was waiting in line.  She grew up, she became something more then she'd ever thought she'd be, and still he looked at her the same way he did when he first saw her.  1

He spilled his heart about everything he found he could.  She spilled her heart to him about everything possible, including the fact that she was head over heals for him.  But without surprise (to her), he kindly turned her down, and told her he just didn't like her that way.  At first she did take it hard, but when he stayed around as her best friend, and didn't change the way he acted, it became easier to adapt to.  2

By the end of the year they were close.  So close that she just didn't want anything to change, but here they were the end of the semester and soon they'd be seniors.  She knew they would never talk again, why would someone like him want to keep in touch with someone like her over the summer?  Though he said he would, she doubted it.  And, she was right.  She called him a few times and when he never returned those calls, or just wasn't there, she gave up.  Finally.3

It crushed her, because there was something in that boy that made her believe in everything she was and everything she could be.  He was her getaway and now she no longer had that.  She dwelled on him for sometime, knowing that he would never love her the way she desperately loved him.  Over time, she met boys, dated a few, and dropped them like bad habits.  No one was ever good enough.  Until Nick, a tall, handsome, funny young boy came around. She was sucked into him faster then she ever thought possible.  In a week they were dating, and they hardly knew each other.  They were just crazy about each other.  Eventually, school started up again, she saw \him\ and they would casually say hi, but it was never anything more then that.  4

And believe it or not, even though she had been with Nick for a few months, as soon as she saw Zach, that boy, just captured her heart like no one else could.  Nick didn't matter anymore when she saw him.  She was hypnotized, quite literally.  She never let her feelings go the way she thought she had.  Every time he smiled at her she froze, locked up, felt vulnerable.  And he hadn't a clue what he was doing to her.5
