Advent Angel (Part 4)

Sophia looked around the ruined city, where she once worked as a human. Midgar had changed so much now, and only she knew it. All the large buildings that used to stand high, blocking the sun from the dark city were all now just a large pile of rubble, making the city look even more dirty than it did before. However, Sophia had come this far for a reason. She wanted to talk with the boss of the company she used to work for. She wanted to talk with Rufus. She knew he was in a town just a little further on from the city, where a healing lodge now stood to help the victims of Geostigma. She then knew she was heading for Kalm.1

When Sophia arrived in Kalm, shortly followed by the spirits, she caught sight of another motorbike, just as it was leaving. She knew who the bike belonged to, and therefore knew that maybe Rufus was working with the blond she hated so much. This was her time to try and scare one of her old bosses to get what she wanted. She had a feeling that the shinra were hiding Jenova, the one the spirits called mother, and the one Kina called master. She knew they had picked Jenova up from the crater after everything had settled down. Sophia was the one who ordered the attack on the turks, and who had tortured Elena and the newest member of the Turks, Shion. Then, looking at Kadaj, the young male leader of the three spirit brothers, she nodded, and they walked in together, before ordering the other two brothers and Kina to go to Midgar to pick up any children with the star scar syndrome, Geostigma.2

As Sophia and Kadaj walked into the healing lodge, Sophia looked at kadaj and motioned him to start talking to the young president. Afer all, Sophia was only there to see if he was lying to them. As kadaj interrogated him, Sophia began to look into his eyes more deeply, watching him very carefully. It seemed that either Rufus was a good lier, or that they had lost posession of Jenova earlier. She then stood behind the president as Kadaj suddenly bent down infront of Rufus. As he did this, Sophia saw what Kadaj really was, What he was to become. She saw the one that she wanted to bring back in him. Sephiroth was inside Kadaj, aching to get out and back at his blond rival. Aching to rip Clouds world apart, like Cloud had done to him two years previous.3
