Dear Romeo,1

Sometimes, in the history of man, there came a time2

When loving became, to him, a game3

Something God had created to be pure, pleasurable and intimate4

Became cruel, hateful, deceitful, sinful and full of pain5

I do not know when or how this came about6

Only do I know that it has happened very slowly 7

Very completely and overwhelmingly8

Love became, instead of intimate, it became a fling9

Neanderthals are thought to be the cruel ones10

I beg to differ on this thought though it will cause me stress for my view11

Yet, I can support this one hundred percent12

It is my opinion, that though we see the cavemen type as crass13

They were truly the ones who were true14

Wives knew before the "commitment" was made15

That their roll was as the "lessor" one in the "relationship16

The roll of women was to bare children and serve man17

No pretensions were made, no aspect of love pretended18

It just simply was and was accepted for these sisters of mine19

In many respects, I agree, they had it worse20

Yet, in many I believe they had it better21

Hearts are funny things I have learned22

The life blood to a relationship as we know it today23

Crushable with the broken promises24

Demolished when unfaithfulness is tossed upon it25

These are things that would not be felt did I not have a heart26

I would just know my place and accept it or not27

No biggie if that was the way of society today28

What makes it so much worse for me is the presumptuous ass who lies29

If you want a cave woman, tell me, be honest, be real30

Do not lie to me and say you love me,31

Do not say you want no other, I can see in your face that is a lie32

Do not f*&%$#@ hit me or I may make you wish you were dead33

For, cave woman you want, cave woman you just may get34

I am done being you practice thing for your lines35

I am done being your toy in the bedroom36

I am done being your whipping post37

Angry? NAH!!  Just tired.  Not of being treated this way38

Tired of being lied to for that is truly the worse part39

That is where I would rather have a thousand year old caveman40

Than a moder day Casanova41

So, if you think you will treat me this way ever again42

Be prepared as you need to remember this simple fact43

It was not caveman who cooked at home therefore he had no need of fire44

It was woman who invented flamage and I know how to use it45
