Confused...part nineteen

Morgan walked to the school gates where she had arranged to meet Adam. She couldn't focus on any of her afternoon lessons because of him. She didn't understand what he wanted to say. She had told Cathy to go home, and that she would call her later. Cathy wanted to know what Adam wanted too.1

She got to the school gates and looked up. Adam was already there, but he didn't look calm like he usually did. He was pacing up and down, like he was worried or something.2

Morgan walked up to him, but he was so into his thoughts he didn't realise.3

'You look like you have ants in your pants Adam, stand still' Morgan laughed and smiled.4

Adam looked up suprised, then smiled. 'Thanks for the advice'5

'So Adam, enlighten me. I have been fretting for hours, whats this about?' Morgan asked.6

Adam shuffled uncomfortably. 'Uhm... Well, I wanted to-' Adam stopped mid sentence, and just stared above Morgans head. She turned, confused. She saw Luke standing there, grinning down at her. He had an evil look in his eye. 7

'Cheers Adam mate, shes riiiight where i want her now' Luke said to Adam, 'If you get what i mean eh' He winked and raised his eyebrows.8

'EXCUSE ME?! Wow Adam, you are one HELL of an actor! I actually thought you wanted to tell me something! And YOU Luke, please shut up and lower your eyebrows before i make sure you cant have kids' Morgan said the last part spitefully, but with a smile. 9

'No Morgan it wasn't-' Adam tried to say10

'Why you little bitch-' Luke interrupted. 11

They both tried to grab one of her arms, but she quickly moved out of the way.12

She started to run.13

She ran towards the road, turned and saw them chasing her.14

Without thinking she ran into the road, just as both Adam and Luke called her name.15

She turned again, BAM.16

She was on the floor.17

She was loosing focus.18

She never had time.19

She just never saw it.20

Never saw the car coming at her...21
