Freshman Year Ch 7

Friday came quick. Dylan was going to come and get me at 6:30. We were going to see a new action flick and then go out for a bite to eat. I had no idea what I was going to wear! I mean come on, this was my first date ever, with one of the hottest guys!1

As soon as I got home I got in the shower. Julia was going through my clothes to help me pick out an outfit that was casual but still looked nice. She chose my blue jeans, red V-neck shirt and my red pumps. I fixed my hair and makeup and dabbed on some perfume. 2

Dylan showed up like an hour early. Julia got the door and then hollered, "Rebecca, Dylan's here!" I came down the stair slowly. Dylan's eyes showed approval of what he saw. My heart fluttered under his intense gaze. "There's been a slight change in plans," Dylan said. "What are the new plans," I asked. "Rebecca, I can't say, it'll ruin the surprise," Dylan said. 3

I just looked at Dylan and said, "Lets go then." "I'll have her home by midnight," Dylan said. Julia smiled and said, "Have fun."4
