“Today is the execution of the traitor.” stated Alexis. She was tying up the back of Trebajin’s dress. She was already showing her pregnancy. The fertility spell Trebajin cast went a little overboard. Trebajin was looking in the mirror pinning her hair back and placing her delicate crown on her head. 3

“I know, that is why I must look beautiful. The traitor must know that she has lost completely. I am now Queen and my child will rule this realm and if we teach her our knowledge she may rule all in existence.” Trebajin declared. 4

“Your baby will become a goddess and she will be worshipped by many.” Alexis informed her as she brought Trebajin her shoes and earrings. Trebajin fixed her hair and walked out of her chambers, Alexis was walking at her heels. 5

“After the execution I have a tea I am working on to help the baby develop. You do need your rest. Also, the council wants to talk to you about your plans for the humans. They seem to be making friends with the creators.” Alexis updated her while they made their way to the execution room. Trebajin pushed open the door to the room and several guards bowing their heads at her greeted her. Nioletin was in the garb of a servant the lowliest type of servant. She was chained and covered in bruises she was thin she had not fed in a week. 6

“Nioletin, you had your King and his brother killed. You manipulated this Kingdom. You tried to kill your new Queen. Do you object to these charges?” announced Trebajin. 7

“No. I did what I did because Maksha was a weak leader and Stephened would have been worse.” Nioletin defended. 8

“Then you are condemned to death by decapitation. Glaive please?” Trebajin took the glaive in her hand and raised it above Nioletin. With one quick swing, she decapitated the traitor. Alexis bent over and scooped some blood into a cup. 9

“She will be bound to this Earth and not be allowed eternal rest.” chanted Alexis as she mixed the blood with several herbs and swallowed the contents of the cup. She left just a sip for Trebajin. 10

“Here, it will give the baby power of the supernatural.” commanded Alexis. 11

“Thank you. Now let this serve as an example. I will not be a lax Queen. Under my rule, this realm will be more powerful and feared than any other time in history. I will see you all at a meeting this afternoon. I will give details for my plan involving the humans. You are dismissed.” boomed Trebajin to the crowded room.12
