Realm Trinity Chapter 21

Chapter 21 1

“God this place is beautiful.” Elizabeth sighed as Yerix handed her a glass of what appeared to be wine. 2

“I love it. We have found that the appearance of the world around you affects your mood and health so for several hundred years we have worked to make our surroundings beautiful.” Yerix informed her. “Would you like to see our library? It is quite impressive.” he asked her.  3

“Why not?” she replied. Yerix led her down a long corridor to a set of doubled doors. She pushed the door open and stepped into a large circular room. The walls were covered with leather bound books. In the center of the room was a floating screen, it was blue and seemed to scanning for something. She recognized some of the titles that flew by the screen. Pride and Prejudice, Sum of All Fears, and Alice in Wonderland. 4

“The computer is scanning to find a good book for you. It is matching the perfect book to your brain wave patterns. Here you go, this one is pretty recent only a hundred years old. It’s called Oen`ashka. It is about a woman who kills for a living. I heard it’s relatively good.” Yerix said as he walked towards a bookshelf and pulled a dark brown book with the title burned into it. 5

“Thanks. I’ll start reading it tonight.” she told him. Elizabeth smiled as she sat in a chair he motioned to. Yerix sat in one across from her. She slid her hand over the cover of the book and opened it slowly. Her eyes widened as she looked at the pages they were a yellow color and the book was hand written not typed. 6

“Hmm. This is amazing, the pages are hand written. I can almost feel the vibe of the author.” she gushed. 7

“You can keep it. It will be a souvenir for your trip.” he suggested. 8

“Thank you.” 9

“My colleagues and I are trying on how best to aid you in your war with the vampires. We are leaning towards a vaccine we created. See, we can make your blood useless to the vampires. Another option we have is to help you find and close their portal to your realm. What do you think?” he told her as he shifted in his seat. 10

“Why not both?” she asked leaning back into her chair. 11

“What would we get out of it?” he questioned her. 12

“Our realm has resources that yours lost years ago. We could provide you with some of those resources. You could learn from our DNA and our evolution process. You could learn so much.” she recommended. 13

“Maybe. I’ll bring it up in the meeting tomorrow. You could learn a lot too. If you stayed.” said Yerix as he walked out the door. “Good night”14

Elizabeth picked up her book and walked to the other set of doors. She pushed it open and found her way back to her room. 15

“What the Hell!” shrieked Elizabeth when she walked in. Her eyes rested on the intertwined bodies of Miranda and Eric. 16
