Curse of the Undead -Chapter 10

Lilith sat at her table in the backroom of the cafe'. Looking at the clock it read 9:45 P.M. The others would all be arriving around 10:00 P.M. So she sipped her drink and waited patiently. Just then the doorman came in and whispered into her ear, "Your guest has arrived."1

"Excellent, please show her in." Lilith said happily.2

He exited the room and a moment later a woman entered she appeared to be in her mid twenties, dressed in all black leather. Her boots were black and she wore a long black overcoat which she took off upon entering the room. Her hair was a deep red, with orange highlights.3

Lilith greeted her pleasantly and in a friendly tone said, "Ah, Chastity, how good it is to see you again. Thank you ever so much for coming on such short notice."4

Unimpressed by her pleasantries Chastity interrupted her small talk, "Cut to the chase Lilith, I know you didn't call me here to catch up on old times. So what do you want?"5

Lilith's innocent smile slowly faded to a bewildered look. "Won't you please sit down?" Lilith said6

"No thanks!" Chastity replied. "I'd rather stand."7

"MMMM feisty. I admire that in a woman." Lilith replied.8

"Lilith did you ask me here to flirt with me or was there something you wanted?" Chastity spoke.9

Lilith began to walk around the table slowly and then began to speak. "Chastity, as you know I am not a woman of talk, I take action. And I may just have an offer for you. One that you can not turn down."10

"I'm not in the mood for your games, so if you don't mind, would you kindly get to your point." Chastity demanded.11

"Very well then." Lilith said. "I'm going to offer you the opportunity of your immortal life. What would you say, if I told you that you could have more power than you could dream of?" she asked.12

"What are you talking about, Lilith?" Chastity asked.13

"I happen to be in the need of a disciple. One of my own, has betrayed me and let's just say, he won't be doing that again." She said as she reached down she picked up a handful of ash.14

"And why do you think I would join your group of followers." Chastity asked. "You should know that I've changed. I've been living happily with Angelique."15

"Oh, is that a fact?" Lilith replied. Slowly she made her way over to where Chastity stood, and walked behind her. As she stood behind her she brushed Chastity's hair back, slightly caressing her neck. Chastity turned around quickly. "I said NO Lilith." She beamed.16

Lilith now stood in front of Chastity and held her gaze. As Chastity became entranced by Lilith's eyes, Lilith bent down and began to kiss her. Chastity returned the kiss and surrendered herself to Lilith.17

"Oh, Lilith. I will forever be your servant." she said.18

"Good." Lilith said. "Now return to your loft and speak of nothing that has happened here tonight. I will visit you in time." Lilith said.19

"Yes my Mistress of darkness." she replied.20

Chastity exited through the beaded curtain. As she left the remaining members of Lilith's disciples began to enter the room. As they all sat down in their seats, Lilith was aglow and proud of herself as she hushed them to silence.21

"Tonight, my friends, marks a turning point. As I have found a replacement for our dearly departed traitor. And with all of our powers, Ktulu and absolute power will be ours." Lilith said as she laughed wickedly.22

Just then Aluka entered the room. He walked over to Lilith and began to speak so that the others could not hear. "I just found out that Angelique will be at the meeting, tomorrow night. If she joins Ktulu...." Lilith interrupted, "What? Will she destroy us? Or better yet would her powers defeat me?" Lilith said mockingly. "I don't think so. You see my dear, when Angelique finds out her precious Chastity is on our side, she won't dare raise a finger against her. And she will be destroyed." She finished and once again began to laugh.23

Aluka began to laugh along with Lilith, until she spoke, "Everyone, tomorrow night we strike and take what is ours. Aluka, you will take your team and destroy Corinth and Sonja. See to it that the leaders never make it to the meeting. I will deal with Ktulu. And Chastity...she will be taking care of Angelique...weather she wants to or not." She said.24

After discussing the rest of the plans with her followers, she dismissed them all. She sat down in her chair and laughed, as she poured a drink, seemingly pleased with herself.25
