No story has a truly happy ending. Story tellers around the world have ended their stories with THE END for centuries. But what if that wasn’t the end. What you don’t know is the secret ending, the continuation of the story to the end of the characters lives. For instance, most people read Snow White and the seven dwarfs or saw it on the T.V. and a collective sigh Ahh noise would be released when Prince Charming roused Snow White from her deathly slumber with a kiss. There was the usual “And They Both Lived Happily Ever After” and those two magical words would appear on the screen. Come on everybody you know what to do, and a one and a two and a three AAAHHHH.1
What you don’t know is what Snow White and her Prince Charming did with their happily ever after.2
Two years after Snow White was awakened from her sleep by his kiss They got married. It was a nice ceremony with Snow White wearing a deep blue satin dress (not white though) and Prince Charming in his most formal dress. There was no father to give Snow White away so Doc did it with Dopey stumbling in front of them as a make shift flower girl, Grumpy grumbling at the back as an usher, Bashful trying to hide behind Prince Charming holding the rings, Sleepy asleep on the first pew, Happy beaming with pride next to him, Sneezy doing his best at final flower arranging. All of this in the basement of the castle which used to be the queen’s lab. The mirror still hung on the wall. A happy day was had by all, everyone enjoyed the cake served up by an old crone with a huge wart on her nose, everyone got steaming drunk and it was considered by all to have been a very good party.3
There the happy times end for Snow White and her Prince Charming. It started on the wedding night when he was so gallant as to refuse to consummate the marriage “We’ll wait till your ready” he said as she was ripping off her clothes and tugging at his trousers. Many lonely nights ensued. Eventually they ended up sleeping in separate chambers, He enjoying the comfort of his stable boy, her discovering the lonely depths of masturbation.4
We come to them ten years after their ‘joyous union’. Charming’s stable boy has grown to a man of twenty seven and everyone is wondering why he and Charming have taken to wearing matching rings on their fingers and staring into each others eyes whilst on long walks in the country. But Snow White has her children so she doesn’t care. Whilst the topic of Charming’s relationship with the stable boy is of obvious public interest no-one questions why Snow White’s kids have never grown over four feet tall and already have full flowing beards.5
Author notes
I wrote this a few years back. It was supposed to be the prologue of a story but I think it sit's well quite happily on its own

hehehe i agree. happy endings are just there to make sure that we, as the readers, are satisfied with the end so that we will think that this author is great at writing happy stories.
Well, that's my theory.
This was excellent... I loved the whole idea of it. it was really funny and the whole concept of it was so true. the way you wrote it was really good and the witty nature of the text made it all the better.
Great job! -
adorable
Happy endings don't exist. That's the beauty of being niave. This was a great adorable little story. -
adorable... it's true we see happily ever after (and assume that's what it is), but real life isn't like fantasy... there are bumps in the road, losing of jobs, runaways, kids doing poorly at school, and that's all the stuff - someone else didn't cause the problem for you... car accidents, drunk driving, drive-by shootings..
no we want to believe that happy ever after is just that... cause otherwise we wouldn't go see a movie fashioned after our own lives would we... although mine is so dysfunctional it would probably be funny. -
outstanding
awesome I espeacially enjoyed the dwarf children! -
Awesome!
Ahahaha, I think this is really awesome. I think it's so cool how you were able to take such a story from our pasttime childhoods and write about it with a twist, I loved it!
