Love in the Courtyard

After lessons that day, Erasmus and Jerom stood by the fountain. Jerom touched Erasmus on the arm and Erasmus slowly came closer towards Jerom. Jerom gently laid his hand across Erasmus.1

“You know, from the moment I laid eyes on you, I fell in love with you. And, now I’ll always love you,” said Jerom. Erasmus smiled, looking up at Jerom.2

“I will always love you, too, Jerom,” he said, smiling. They kissed, a kiss which was a promise- the promise that they would make love later. 3

Cicero watched them and spoke to Damon. He knew both of them so well. Jerom was his first friend, and Erasmus was his best friend. How glad he was to see them together.4
