Black Onyx And Blood Notes

The necklace hung around her neck gracefully, the stone resting against her chest like an extraordinarily beautiful bullet hole; the black onyx so dark a colour it penetrated the eyes of those who examined it. She smiled at me mysteriously, turned and walked away. That was the lat time I saw her, and the last time I saw the necklace. 1

Anna was shot in the chest that night as she waited for a taxi outside a bar. The police knew from the people who had spoken to her that night, that the necklace was the only thing missing. When they took Anna’s body to the morgue and cleaned up the blood, they found a note left in lipstick on her chest; “Remember Me.” A violent reminder that her killer would return.2

    Kudos for you my dear sweet daughter!!!!!

    Kitty, Oh no daughter dear, watch out for those serial killers on the loose. We can never forget old Jack there, he terrorized London for quite a time. This was very intriguing and I certainly hope there is more to come. Not from Jack, of course. You brought me into the piece with your words and the imagery was quite vivid. I felt as though I was witness to the horrid crime as the young lady awaited her taxi. The flow was excellent and has me wanting MORE. Thank you so much for sharing your brilliance with all of us.     I spotted a spelling mistake! you wrote 2that was the LAT Time I saw her" rather than last; thought you'd want to know

    great little story, sounds like the introduction cut scene they always have in crime shows... could this be an intro-duction to a series of crime solving things? lol
