Freshman Year Ch 4

So for the past week at school, Ethan's been hanging out with his brother Eric's old group. They were known for the wild parties, drinking, and getting into trouble. This weekend Ethan's group was having a party. Julia wasn't surprised that he had joined that group. "He is now someone you are to stay away from," Julia told me. "We'll go to parties. We will not go to any of their parties cause its not safe. The law always gets called." I nodded and the bell rang.1

Julia and I got checked out to go to a dentist's appointment. As we sat in the waiting room, I looked around and locked eyes with Dylan, a guy that went to our school. He was a sophmore and all the girls liked him. He held my gaze until they called him back to the room. Julia finally noticed that Dylan and I had been staring at each other. "He is a better choice for you then Tyler," Julia whispered. "I worry about you being with Tyler sometimes. He's so intense." 2

I didn't say anything. I know my sister is just looking out for me. Finally it was our turn to go back to see the dentist and when we got out of there, we headed to the mall. I spotted this totally cute outfit and tried it on. Ohhh it was perfect. I bought it and decided to wear it to school tomorrow. 3

Tyler was at the house when I came home. "Rebecca, I heard that you was staring at Dylan," he said. "Yea, so what if I was, Tyler, its not like we're married or anything," I said. Tyler slapped me and screamed, "You are mine! No one elses!"4

Dad was home. He grabbed Tyler and had him up against the wall. Tyler was scared to death of dad. "You are to stay away from my daughter," dad growled with his eyes blazing with anger. "I know your dad raised you better than that, boy. I will be contacting him and let him punish you how he sees fit." Tyler trembled and fled the house as dad called Tyler's parents. They were not happy.5
