This morning I shall finish.1
I have only a few more faces to do - nothing that'll take too long. Giovaninno loves it already, anyway. Just a matter of finishing touches really. Can't just walk away from a work like this.2
Some colour to add to Noah's skin, the curve of one of those angels' back...3
Maybe I should adjust the colour of the nymphs by Adam.4
The folds of the cloth don't look quite right there, but that's only a matter of minutes. I can't see why no-one thinks to mention these things to me, though. It's not as though I'll get upset at them for pointing them out.5
Then I can return to the creation of light. It looks too passive at the moment. Apparently Sixtus really likes it's representation, but I can't believe he hasn't noticed that the Saviour's skin is so speckled from the settling of the paint.6
Must get rid of some of the people in the Flood, too. It's far too crowded.7
Maybe I should just do that after lunch, and then I could fix Adam's wrist at the same time.8
Actually, before it gets dark, I wanted to look at the elects at the judgement again. I always forget that while I'm up here.9
Not much to do here, although the angels look as though they're playing with the cross rather than carrying it. Must do something about that.10
If only the light would hold a bit longer, I could get the Saints too look a bit more lifelike.11
Shame, guess I'll have to leave that 'til tomorrow.12
I wouldn't want to have the name of Michaelangelo associated with shoddy workmanship, after all.13

Author notes
I read a poem by repomen 79 (allpoetry.com/Poem/474114) about Michaelangelo that made me wonder how he'd view his work - would he ever be satisfied with what everyone else would consider perfection or would he keep revising and adjusting until he was either not allowed to or couldn't? Don't feel I've quite got the dilemma fixed enough in his mind, though.
What did you think? Please comment!

This write was so awesome, it read just as if I was hearing Michaelangelo's thoughts in my own mind. It was very originally written, I love how you have the day passing on, and describe so carefully each improvement he wanted to make. Very cool, and well done, keep it up.
