Kaytlin’s Journal1
I stood in the hall way, knowing he would be there. My Travis. My so called best-friend. Travis. He is so handsome with his white skin, blond hair, and blue eyes. I looked down at my jean mini-skirt and red midriff camisole and smoothed the wrinkles while hiking up my skirt. I played with my stack of black rubber bracelets which I always wore on my right arm. 2
Finally, the bell rang. I took a deep breath and “confidently” walked into the classroom.3

Kaytlin strolled into the classroom, looking as confident and as beautiful as always. Her dark hair framed her dark skin and round face. As usual, she has a big smile on her face as she came near me and sat down in her desk next to me. Her bright blue eyes glowed like diamonds. I looked up and smiled.5
“Hey Kaytlin.” I said.6
“Hey Travis. Ugh you’re so sweaty!” She told me in a playful voice.7
“Gym.” I told Kaytlin.8
“I know.” She reminded me as our teacher started to yell at us to be quiet and do our work.9

“Hey Kaytlin.” Travis said as I sat down next to him.11
“Hey Travis. Ugh you’re so sweaty!” Why did I always have to say something mean?12
“Gym.” Travis reminded me.13
“I know.” I whispered to Travis as our teacher started to yell at us to be quiet and do our work. Which I wouldn’t do for another few minutes. Right now I had to stare at him with longing eyes, and when Travis would look up at me, I’d pretend to be trying to talk to the girl who sits next to him.14

Class ended and I said bye to Kaytlin as I gathered my things. I can’t believe I’m so stupid that I can’t stay behind and talk to her and her friends, Anna and Mark. But I know that if I tried to talk to them, I’d say something stupid. And Kaytlin would think I was an idiot. I know we’re supposed to be “best friends” but it’s hard when she’s so perfect.16
Kaytlin17
As class ended Travis said goodbye. I tried to go talk to him, but I couldn’t think of anything to say without sounding stupid. Instead, I walked over to my other friends, Anna and Mark, and we laughed our way out of the room. I know Travis is my “best friend” but it’s hard when he’s so perfect.18

This is life everyday. He/she is perfect but will never love me. This is just the way it is. Until we all just get old and die.20
Many years later, Kaytlin and Travis both passed away. Never knowing the true feelings the felt for each other. 21
*Always remember::: If you love someone, tell them. Because hearts are often hurt by words left unsaid.*22

oh my god, i can't even beleive i found this story! The last note thing is so true. I had liked my best friend for about six years. She couldn't hide her feelings for me, so about four years ago we started a relationship. She proposed to me on my last birthday.I said yes. ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE YOU LIKE THEM IF YOU DO, IT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

I think maybe you rushed it a little. The story might come out better as an actual written story, not just a journal, if you know what I'm saying. But it has a wonderful message. Keep writing!
