A Vampire Story part 3

“You must be Andraya” I heard an English accent say behind me. I turned around and came face to face with the most gorgeous guy I had ever seen.1

He had black shaggy hair that just barely touched his shoulders, stormy gray eyes and the most sensual lips ever. He was wearing black jeans, a black silk shirt and a black trench coat. (As I said before all the signs were there.)2

"Yes I am" I said "and you must be Toby"3

Actually the name is Tobias" he said with an arrogant smirk, pronunciating each syllable like I was slow or something.4

My deepest apologizes To- bi -as" I said with false sincerity, and a snotty accent.5

He laughed at that and said I was forgiven.6

"So" I asked "how do you like our poor excuse of a school so far?"7

"Its interesting" he said "filled with fascinating people"8

"Fascinating people? Are you sure you are talking about the right place.9

"Quite sure" he said with a grin "in fact I am talking to one right now"10

Smooth, I thought then, sly I think now11

"Andraya!"12

I heard my name called out. I turned around and Mrs. Seren was looking at me.13

"Yes Mrs. Seren?" I asked14

"Are you prepared to read your poem?15

"Yes ma'am16

"Well then come on up to the front of the class so we can all see and hear you."17

I walked up to the front of the class and forced myself not to stare at Tobias. Looking at the floor I started reading.18

"Lost boy19

He is alone in the dark20

Hiding his crimson tears21

Killing her broke his heart22

And confirmed his worst fears23

The red headed beauty24

Lays broken on the floor25

Reminded of his duty26

He heads out the door27

He whispers a prayer for her soul28

The first and last he's made29

He leaves the one who made him whole30

And disappears like a shade"31

When I was walking back to my desk I looked up and noticed Tobias giving me a strange look. He looked confused and angry.32

"Thank you Andraya, that was lovely, whose next?33

As the next person went up and read their poem I sat back down. Tobias leaned over and whispered a question in my ear.34

"Where did you get the idea for that poem?"35

"Truthfully" I said "It came from a reoccurring dream I've had, the images are so clear and the boy so sad that I decided to write it down and set it free. I tried to draw a picture, but I couldn’t see anything of the boy except for his eyes. He has beautiful eyes, wolf gray, witch eyes. In fact and this will sound really stupid, but his eyes kind of look like yours."36

"Really" he said "isn’t that coincidental" he had a strange little smirk on his face i turned around and tried to pay attention, but then he leaned over again.37

"What are you doing after school today?" he asked, his breath tickleing my ear.38

"Going home" I replied" and you"39

"I fear I have no plans"40

"Well" I said "if you want I can show you around town, not that there is much to do around here, but there are a couple of interesting places"41

"I will meet you after school then"42

All right, how about by the old weeping willow"43

I will be there"44

It was only a small thing, showing him around town, and yet a felt as if my fate had just been sealed.45

Little did I know in a way it had.46
