Dripping Crimson (A Vampire Story)

A cool breeze blew from beyond view of the dark forest, sweeping the girls hair in every direction. her eyes an emotionless gray and stormy as the sky. She gazed into the night as regret filled her vacant mind. Thoughts suddenly rushed at her. She was in pitch black room, traitorously cold. No light except for the moon light flooding in through the window. The stone smooth beneath her bare feet. She looked down at her hands pale skin reached up to her nails that where elegantly long painted a deep crimson red with black tips. She turned her hands over and took in the strongly designed lines that covered her palms, almost as an engravment. Delicately placed into simple designs. She stared in bewilderment as though this is was the first time she'd ever seen them. A sudden sharp pain jolted through her body throwing her out of the trance she had entered. She new he was there a defiant one, and it burned her, but yet she enjoyed the challenge in a twisted way. She turned around to face a man deep brown eyes staring at her with concern and control. He put out a hand and began to brush the blonde curls out of the girls face. A wave of hunger set in and need ripped through her. Closing her eyes she felt her teeth growing tearing through her gums, her nails turned into dagger like forms, and all the polish was cracked, a shriek was heard from the man then numb, nothing, no heart beat and every thing was deadly quiet she opened her eyes and looked at her hand. A drip of blood slowly splattered against her snow-white palms. Startled she looked to the ground to see the man laying their blood pouring from his wrist which looked to be torn open. With one last look the she fled from the tower, her fangs sliding back into there shafts nails shrinking once again to human size.  1

She ran tears streaming down from her eyes hitting the gravel beneath her feet. Each droplet pulling black make-up with it streaking down her face. The wind begin to blow more violently whipping through her hair and sending her skirt all around, She shivered as a rain drop hit The bare skin of her chest, directly above her corset shirt. And another that smoothly slithered down her cheek intertwining with her tears. The rain started to come down harder and she stopped kneeling down onto the ground staring into the night palms up letting it soak her soul. A cry carried through the air, barely understandable but the girl understood she got up suddenly frozen and stiff, but taking off at a run, fast as she could pushing past trees and bushes going no where but any where but to him. The call was clear now ringing through the forest gliding over the water seeming so pure but strong. “JADE” the voice called again calmly. The girl rounded a corner and stopped dead. In front of her was a tall lean man with brown hair neatly combed his eyes cold and hard with no emotion as he gazed at her. She tried to run off again but he grabbed her arm she gasped as he spun her around “jade why are you running from me, your own father” the voice said smoothly. Jade glared back at him and his grip on her arm tightened. “Let go of me” she spat. “Now, now jade a lady like your self really must use proper manners” he said with a sigh As he dropped her arm, and his hand darted for her hair instead which was glinting smoothly in the moon light. Once his grasp was firm he pulled her roughly slamming her head into the nearest tree and colliding her check to the thorns coming from around the side. She felt dizzy As she fell to her knees as he slammed her head once more. She Ly still on the ground as the warm soft rich blood began to drip from her forehead and other various cuts torn into the flesh of her check, Entangling with her light blonde hair.2

"Pretty as ever darling" Said the man as he kicked her and walked away.3

A young boy with jet-black hair looked up from his book. Into the moonlight it was glinting making his eyes burn a deep emerald, something was wrong. Pain suddenly surged into his head. All of his calm, cool, collected features stiffened as he put down his book and got up quickly heading for the door while slipping on a long black trench coat that fell to his sides, and griped his mussels in all the right places. As he made his way into the cool autumn night a light drizzle coming from the foggy skies, pain still surging through him “Jade” he whispered to him self as he slipped into the darkness of the night.4

Part. 25

Jade was suddenly shaken from her thoughts when she heard the unlatching of ancient locks on the door. It opened and she felt a chilling breeze creep up behind her. Keeping her gaze out the window she ignored the figure and braced the coldness surrounding her.6

“O’ my you look even paler then usual, are you thirsty?” the voice said from behind her, with cruelness and yet a little bit of amusement mixed in.7

“Leave me alone,” jade said simply not bothering to turn around. 8

The man put a hand on her shoulder and she shuttered feeling his dried peeling skin rough against her delicately small shoulder. The entire thing made her shutter and she heard him chuckle to himself9

“My dear, you must eat and your really turning out quite anti-social arn’t you. We cant have that.”10

Jade spun around the moonlight catching the buttons on her sleeveless corset and her skirt flowing along with her. Turning to face the man his eyes burning into her with amusement and pleasure. Disgusting she thought.11

“There is nothing dear to you except your old black heart.” She spat.12

The man looked amused as his features changed and his lips curved upwards. He turned to leave only stopping momentarily to pull black leather gloves from his coat pocket. And as he stepped out of the room the door slammed tightly after him causing loose stone in the wall to rattle.13

Staring back out the window she saw a figure wondering toward the house. He looked young but he snuck with such a professional ease. Strange, but maybe it’s just a common burglar or a tourist maybe. She turned back to her memories, a week can seem like an eternity.14

“Would any one else like to contribute there opinions to the matter?” asked the judge in a rather bored tone as if hoping no one wanted to say anything because he had much better things to be doing.16

“I do.” I young man stood up. He looked to be about 21; his brown hair was short and messy. And his goatee gave him an edgy look.17

“Yes Mr. Callahan” he stood up18

“Please call me Isaac” the judge nodded in approval for him to continue.19

“Yes well I feel that vampires can contribute to the community, by helping us dispose with criminals, I think Mr. Delaughter had the same opinion and view as I do. Instead of using machinery we can have vampires take care of the death penalty for us. That way we all get what we want. They get fed and we save money and time.” Snickers came from the crowd and the judge looked mildly entertained 20

“Mr. Callahan”21

“Isaac”22

“Right Isaac, you do realize that there is no proof that vampires even exists, Your statements seem to be insanity. Mr De laughter claimed to have a vampire in custody but was found dead with no signs on any one else being there the next day. He committed suicide and was mentally unstable probably from lying and worrying what others would think when he showed up with no vampire. It was an obvious suicide the knife was only a few feel away from his arm, and his wrist torn to shreds” the judge said in a matter-of-fact tone 23

“That may be but contrary to ancient stories vampires do indeed bite more then your neck and leave no sign of where they have been once there gone.”24

“What are you suggesting” asked the judge impatiently25

“I’m suggesting that Mr. De laughter did not commit suicide he was in fact murdered be a vampire” the judge was looking even more amused at Isaac’s last comment26

“Well even if what you are suggesting was true. Then it would prove that vampires kill who they want, why would a creature such as that, with all that power want to work for us when they can just kill us?”27

“I was hoping you would ask, you see that was an inexperienced untrained vampire I believe they can be trained to kill only guilty, or maybe Mr. De laughter was indeed a guilty man and the vampire already knew it.”28

The judge sighed and  “ Case dismissed we will reassemble in a week with the jury’s decision”29

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~30
the door wrenched open pouring small streams of light into the dim room. A figure was thrown in and the door closed. It was the young boy from outside. He was shuttering in fear but once the door was closed he stopped and stood up brushing off his clothes. Jade knew exactly who this was.31
Prt 3. Simon32
Simon stood up tall and stopped shuddering immediately, he and jade exchanged glances and burst out into laughter. Simon smiled at her with a lust in his eyes33
"I felt you were in some kind of trouble" Jade crossed her thin pale arms knowingly34
"I suppose your here to get me out right"35
" You know my price" Simon said with a grin, as he stepped forward and pushed back the girls hair, his hand brushed her scared check and she flinched, but he faced her to look him in the eye and kissed her. Softly at first, but then harder and more passionately. Jade kissed him back, she had seen the need in his eyes, and it drew her in. 36
"Stop" She said suddenly, Simon looked disappointed. "You know what happens when you sleep with one like me"37
"A vampire" Simon said effortlessly with amusement dangling from the end of his tongue. Jade looked serious38
"You don't want the hunger, the need, you don't deserve that" Jade looked down, but once again he faced her up.39
"I don't deserve you either, your far to perfect, but i need you. I will take what ever consequences come with that" Jade nodded and with that his hand went to her back, and undid the corset. 40
Her chest was exposed to the cold air making her nipples tightened at air stinging her, but it was soon replaced with the warm flesh of the boy. Oh how she had longed him, and now it was as if she was being fed. 41
Being fed was far more pleasurable then she expected, should handing down a curse to another being supposed to be fun. That was the mocking joke then wasn't it.42
Jade tried desperately to contain her self but it was no use, she needed to know, her fangs slid out and pierced Simon's chest, so gorgeous as his blood slipped down the front of his body . He moaned, This would cause any mortal great pain enough to kill them, it was done. He was no longer mortal.43
He was, one of them44
And she now knew all her kind had to be able to seduce the opposite sex. She lay there panting as did Simon45
The look in his eyes was enough to send shivers down her spine, he looked so much more defined, his eyes held, fire.46
~~~~~~~~~~~~~47

A sharply looking woman, hair silver as the moon and flowing about her as the wind caressed her face. stood in front of a deep enchanting pool filled with blood. 48

She glances in as the contents of the pool increased, and what she saw angered her greatly.49

Memories flooding the pool, a boy running up a lawn to meet his parents, only to find the contence of the house on fire, and there bodies no more then ashes.50

Slaving for other family's, secretly taking more and more from each house51

And now, Jade, her very own daughter, the princesses for hells sake!52

This was to be stopped, no one was ever to know53

All witnesses have to be killed54

And every last memory erased, for the rest of there damned existence55
