Advent Angel (Part 3)

Sophia and Kina approached Midgar. A city once full of life and high buildings. Home of the famous Shinra headquarters, which no longer stood above the rest of the city. A ruined building, like a symbol of the shinra company downfall. The large city now in complete ruins, full of people trying to rebuild their lives, which had been lost to the destruction cause by the meteor two years previous. Children walking around the streets, now orphaned and homeless. Sophia could see that most of them had what looked like bruises on their bodies, signs of Jenova cells, reacting and making them see flashbacks of bad things that had happened in the past, or even of the great general himself, and often causing them to pass out from the pain of the "bruises" This was a sickness that had been spreading among the people, called Star scar syndrome, or Geostigma. 1

Sophia carried on to the outskirts of the big city. She caught sight of Kadaj on he top of what looked like a cliff. He was alone, the two others seemed to be chasing another morotcycle on the sandy ground below. Sophia had not noticed who the other two spirits were following, until Kadaj said, 2

"We found him. We found our big brother."3

At that point, without saying a word. Sophia glanced over at the battle going on down below, and to her suprise, she saw the one who had destroyed everything two years ago. That stupid blonde who had hurt her beyond belief. She chuckled as Yazoo shot the blonde in the face with his favourite weapon, the velvet nightmare. Kina got on the back of Kadaj's morotcycle, as he called his brothers off Cloud, the blonde, who looked puzzled as to why he had been attacked, but there was a moment where Sophia had caught Cloud's eye, smiling evilly as she watched the blood trickle down his face from the gunshot. She knew he had known her. She told him in his mind that he should be scared, that the great general would be back. That Cloud would have to face his nemasis once more. Cloud still looked confused, but angry, as Sophia followed the other spirits back to the main city of Midgar, to have a talk with the an old face, who Sophia believed to be hiding Jenova. Shinra, and the Turks.4
