Love By Chance

One dark, cold, stormy night in October, 23 year old, Amanda was driving along the road in her car the road was really slick. Amanda was driving way to fast, with her baby Emma in the backseat. Tears blocked her vision because her boyfriend, Jacob of six months had just broken up with her. Well while she was driving she hit a sheet of black ice and started sliding. Amanda slid over the hill and her car smashed into a tree. David, the guy in the car behind her saw everything. The guy got out of his car and frantically walked down the hill to see who was in the car and he saw a beautiful girl and her adorable little baby. He fell in love with Amanda the first time he saw her. Amanda had blood all over her face and her arm was broken and she was unconscious and her baby was screaming in the backseat. David got her out, car seat and all and set her on the hood of the car. Then he went to try to open the door to get Amanda out but the door wouldn't open. He took the baby back up his car and fastened her in the back seat. He got his crow-bar out of the trunk and went back down the hill and pried the door to Amanda's side opened, got her out, carried her up the hill and sat her up in the passengers seat. He drove really carefully and took them to the hospital on the way there the baby was still crying. When they arrived at the hospital he ran inside to get someone to help him get them inside. About five minutes later, the paramedics came out and took her in the hospital and rushed her back to see a doctor. She had her wallet in her back pocket and they looked in it to see if they could find some identification and they found out her name was Amanda Justice and her baby's name was Emma Justice. They ran a bunch of tests on them and find out that they both had some internal bleeding and head concussions. Amanda had a broken arm and fractured her spine. When Amanda woke up 3 hours later David was in her room with her, he was holding her hand. He was tall dark and mysteriously handsome and Amanda slowly started falling in love with him. Then the nurse came in a gave her a few pain pills and she got really sleepy and fell asleep. David stayed there with her all night and he went to check on the baby and she was doing much better, the bleeding had stopped.1

About 2 weeks later the baby and Amanda were released from the hospital, Amanda told David she had been kicked out of her house. So they went where the car was left and got all her stuff out and put it in his trunk. David said they could stay with him until they found a place to live. Amanda was completely in love with him at this time. They went to David's house and he set up a bedroom for Amanda and Emma. Then that night they watched a movie and he put his arm around Amanda and she put her head on his shoulder, he leaned in and kissed her. Amanda was so happy for the first time since the wreck she felt alive. She was truly in love with David and she didn't want to be without him. This went on for about 2 months and then one day David disappeared for a couple hours and when he came back home he said he needed to talk to her. She said OK what do you need to talk to me about he said, I want to be with you forever. He got down on one knee and said "Amanda will you marry me?" Amanda was overjoyed she started crying and said, Yes David I will marry you. 2

About four months later Amanda went to the store to buy her wedding dress. She went to pay for it and she saw David in the store she paid for her dress and quickly left. They both got back to David's house and David asked her what she bought. Amanda said nothing, what did you buy David said nothing. Emma started crying at that moment wanting to be fed so David fed her and after that they both went to bed. The next day Amanda was sick she went to the doctor and they give her a pregnancy test and it said that she was 2 months pregnant. Amanda was so excited, she went home and told David all about it. He picked her up and give her a big hug and a kiss and told her how happy he is.3

Two months after that they are at the church getting married, Amanda tells him she loves him so much. They get married and they live happily ever after always and forever Amanda, David, Emma and their new baby David Sturgill III.4
