Wisdom’s Call

Across the vast seas, and lifetimes, it seems I’ve walked through many a door.1

Now knowledge is nothing without Wisdom, and prudence makes it more.2

Still what is wisdom amidst covetous hearts, who try controlling the game?3

They consider those, poor in goods, ‘despised’ for their selfish frame.4

“I, Wisdom, dwell among the lowly, whose integrity is of the Lord.5

I give to the simple, with courage, such wealth of pure reward.6

Graciousness and Beauty- am-I, to those who fear the King.7

I give to my children (who listen) the best of  everything.8

Loving those who love Me-, I grant their hearts’ desire.9

I, Wisdom, dwell with Zeal, of purpose; My love consumes like fire.”10

“Fear and Respect are in My courts and honour, for faithful hearts to see. 11

I give counsel, peace of mind, and 'success' for surrendered reality. 12

I call (with compassion, justice and mercy): ‘Come, come and buy the best!’13

I walked with the Lord from the start, before He entered into His Sabboath Rest.14

For what’s the price of ‘repentance,’ compared to the cost of sin?15

What’s the cost of ‘humility-’ for pride that destroys in the end.16

“I, Wisdom, am like ‘a Map’ directing on Life’s Highway.17

Those who find me- humble themselves to know my way.18

I’m like the glorious sun, enlightening souls with life to live.19

Who alone can save, without ‘the Rock of Assurance’ I give?20

I’m the ‘Hope-giver’ to humanity; the life of Living Bread.21

All who love life will taste My ‘Wine,’ and drink of all I’ve said.”22

“The golden-rule is my key-holder, around all the keys- I bring.23

I bring Truth's passion of vision, for I am the ‘Wisdom of the King.’24

Wisdom is His constant delight, in the wondrous courts of Heaven.25

He gives--, as a true Father, with the fruits from His wondrous Tree.26

There’s fruit of Righteousness, ones of Joy, and ones for such victory.27

“Come to the waters and bath your soul in dreams that come true.28

You must take-off the old, put on the new; adhering to all I say to you.29

Many say most never learn from history, but to repeat the old again.30

‘Tis not My way, I have another ‘where faith is for all you’ll spend.’ 31

Lay down your garments so stained from pride-.32

Come to ‘the River of Life’ and abide…33

Open the door-, for I Am ‘your Key.’34

By childlike faith- taste 'the ocean's liberty.'35

I am Wisdom, by Christ the Redeemer, receive of Calvary.36

These are words of wisdom. As was expressed clearly more than once in the movie 'The devil's advocate' by John Milton (satan): "Vanity..., my favorite sin". This is the one blocking us from humility, from having child-like faith, which is my view is also acknowledging knowledge may be leading you astray, away from the Light. Knowledge is of man, wisdom of Creator. Thank you for creating and sharing,

    Chris
